What a fantastic welcoming place this was. An amazing family run restaurant, the owners were so friendly and seemed genuinely pleased to have us taste the local home grown, home made produce. The food was the best we have had in Croatia and on Korcula. The octopus salad and home made cheese and bread was delicious to start with. We then shared the meat platter with roasted vegetables and a garden salad. It was cooked to perfection, tasted amazing and was washed down with some great house red wine. Dessert was delicious, we had rozata, which is similar to creme caramel with rose water, gorgeous! We were then given some samples of their homemade cakes and cherry liqueur as well as grappa! All absolutely brilliant! We will definitely be back.

Excellent restaurant, in a rural area, delicious Croatian food, lovely service, pleasant atmosphere. Don't miss the handmade pasta in meat sauce, and grilled octopus which was one of the tastiest I've eaten. Please note: payment in cash only.

We had a great time at Gera Restaurant. The food was amazing and we felt like being at home. We ate 5 dinners at their place and we would continued to go but they closed for a well deserved rest. They cook great either we are talking about meat or fish. The octopus PEKA was outstanding as much as the meat PEKA we had. Of course we finished each of our meals with their delicious “pancakes” (crêpes).
Last but not least, I want to thank them for making our holiday better with their great foods and smiles.

Inflation... where is the limit? Well for me it ends here. Agroturizam was a place where you could get good local produce at reasonable prices. It's far away from the ceneter of korcula, so it's still not complete and shameless skimming of tourists, but it's getting there year by year. 1 kilo of fish is 66 eur. The price of the fish in supermarkets has not moved much, can be bought well below 10 eur. The last menu i see online, the wine was 80 kuna, french fries 25 kuna, vegetarian plate 85 kuna. I'm attaching current pricelist so anybody can see what is happening. Last year there was a lot of croatian language spoken in the konoba. Now I heard a lot of english. So there are still customers willing to pay. Not me. This is my stop. I hope they at least start offering discounts to local people or offer dual pricelists...
Is it that I cannot afford it anymore or am I just not willing to pay, makes no difference.
Good luck Gera, I hope you attract a lot of americans, this was my last visit.

In village Žrnovo,just 3 km far from the town Korčula ( island Korčula, Croatia) is an agriturism Gera. Excellent domestic food, meat and fish, home made " Žrnovski makaruni", vegetables from their garden , their very good olive oil and vinegar. Very pleasent atmosphere.

Great food, very tasty with fresh ingredients from the owner's garden. Must try seafood Žrnovski makaruni👍and grilled octopus👍Very nice people and place. Also must try cheese plate in olive oil!

Nature is beautiful just like the food. They have outstanding and unique restaurant with delicious food and really nice workers wich is always hard to find. I wouldn't change a thing. Simply amaizing.

Nice little family managed restaurant, with perfect food. We got a tip from local friend.
House wine was good, beef tartare perfect, makaruni, and fish also.

This is a true gem! It was recommend to us by a local and it didn’t disappoint. The food was delicious, everything that was served was produced on the land there. A fabulous experience and much more reasonably priced than restaurants in town.

We came back this year again and visited restaurant gera. Food was as amaizing as last year and staff were as friendly as we remember. Everything was amazing as always.
