After a very long day of travel and some frustrating circumstances, which led to us being spent, we decided to stick close to our hotel. After asking around we drove and saw L’eden in an unassuming location and thought let’s have a quick meal. Well......let’s just say this establishment. Exceeded any expectation we could’ve had. The food was delicious and fresh, after only intending to have a couple of drinks and an entree, we had desert and a plat. A very pleasant surprise and highly recommended if ever traveling from Aix to any surrounding city/village. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was friendly and efficient, next time we make our way to Provence we can definitely see ourselves making another visits. Thanks to everyone at L’eden for brightening our day!More

We chose L’Eden on the basis of the Tripadvisor reviews and were not disappointed. We have an unusual collection of allergies etc and they adapted the menu to suit us. We all had an excellent meal and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. It is not easy...to find at night as it is on an industrial estate!! Really worth the effort.More

Such a wonderful welcome and service. The food was superb, a feast for the eyes as well as the tastebuds. My black spanish pork on a black rice risotto was the most delicious thing I have eaten in y weeks in France. The crackling was...brilliantly broken up and spread over the risotto and under the pork which every bite delicious.More

This is a top notch restaurant in terms of the food. Don’t be put off by the location. You will not have much in terms of a view but the food and wine are perfectly paired, and there are also great beers on tap. While...we visited the place was also popular with locals.More

We stayed nearby outside of Aix-de-Provence and wanted somewhere in the area. We checked reviews on TripAdvisor and found this highly rated restaurant just a half a mile away. It was a little confusing for our gps to find, led us across the street but...in turning around we saw it. We decided to give it a go. Very glad we did. We ordered 50ml of a rose from the region which was very good. The server brought an Olive tamanade with croutons to snack on also. Since it was late, we didn’t want too much before retiring for the evening so we only ordered an entree. We both had the marinated beef filet with truffle sauce and whipped potatoes. It was so tender you could cut it with your fork. I don’t usually like my beef medium but this was so good I did not notice. Served with some baguette to sop up the juices. Feeling just satisfied with the wine and entree, we did not order a dessert although we would have liked to. The meal was 25 euro each and wine was about 20 euro, bill was about 68 euro. We felt was very reasonable for the quality of food. We especially liked the 1970’s music selection which was from our youth, brought back skit of memories. Felt like we were on one of our first dates! Definitely recommend!More

By setting a new standard for everyone else to follow. Remi is a passionate...chef, who really cares about the quality of his ingredients with the best food and serving his customers. We loved our wonderful dinner! Highly recommended! :)More

We were discouraged by the flies and pilgrims in Aix Pce. and chose to go a bit outside the center cite for our dinner. What an excellent decision! we enjoyed an excellent, creative and exquisitely prepared meal with really fresh ingredients. The staff made every...accommodation for our limited French ability and made certain we were clear on our choices. We are very satisfied.More

This is a lovely family run cafe just a short drive from Aix. The staff are very helpful and friendly and gave us a very personal experience, giving us detail on the menu like the source of the many local ingredients. We even visited Chateau...La Coste the day after drinking their wine here. The food was superb, the menu had so many different excellent options. Our group of 8 had duck, steak, hake, pork and lamb which were all fantastic dishes full of freshness and flavour. The deserts were amazing too. The location is slightly odd in an industrial area, but don't be put off by the surroundings and make the visit inside, you will not be disappointed. I was surprised there aren't any more recent reviews having been there but would highly recommend if you are in the area.More

This spacious restaurant and bar is located in a commercial area, a bit away from residential areas. Food is rather creative (except desserts maybe) according to the trendy 'bistronomy' (bistro-style gastronomy). Good choice of French and foreign wines and beers and other drinks. We ordered...the 'tasting menu' which actually is a fixed menu with appetizers (delicious), a starter (classic foie-gras), a main dish (lamb or cod the night we came) and a dessert. 39€ not including drinks, which I found somewhat expensive. My food was quite tasty, with adequate portion size. Just the dessert was disappointing a bit (too sweet and more expected - classic - than the rest of the meal). Service is efficient and kind, thanks to them ! Good, relaxed atmosphere. If I go again, I'd rather go for à la carte, without dessert.More
