We were disappointed with the triple cooked chips as they were anaemic and non-fluffy. Saying that, the steak and haddock were excellent and the triple raspberry dessert was superb.

I recently organised Sunday lunch here for a large group of 35, it involved pre-ordering all the food beforehand. The venue is fabulous! Quirky and very airy, based in a beautiful village, we camped at the nearby Cedar Valley and thought it would be a...More

We ate here twice during the week that we stayed nearby. The food was excellent both times - as was the service and the staff, who were very friendly and helpful. We found a recommendation in the guest book at the property we were staying...More

The place looks the part and staff very friendly, but food very disappointing. Chips were dry as if they'd been reheated, burger overcooked and dry. Prices not cheap

Dog friendly pub, tasty food and comfortable ambiance only marred by a crotchety old regular customer brandishing his walking stick at our dogs. Worth a visit, take your own stick.

Walking through the South Downs Way, this is an excellent place to spend the night. The service is extra friendly and helpful. Good menu for lunch and dinner. East Meon is small and quiet. Easy to relax here.
