A friend of seven years on FB booked this place for us before going to Conwy Castle. Superb ale, food, room, and receptionist E. This Arkansas guy enjoyed the flattery of myself having a "rich" American accent..

We love this place! Great value for money. Fab food in a nice setting. Great selection of Gin and accompanying tonics too! Definitely worth a visit 😀

Visited today as a family of 4, the Coke was flat and very expensive at £5.95 for 2 pints. Food was ok ish but again overpriced for what you get. I had some mustard and it was out of that's since December 16. I won't be visiting again.

Ate here last Saturday night as we were staying at a B&B nearby. Friendly staff but dirty table. Food was nice but overpriced and not true to what was described on the menu. Wouldn't go back.

My daughter and I popped in for lunch last week. We ordered the steak sandwich and burger, with a side of onion rings. We had to wait for half an hour for the food, not sure why, as they weren't busy, but worth the wait! The steak, served on ciabatta bread was perfectly cooked as ordered, medium rare. This was... The rooms were very chic and clean. The service all round was brilliant. The highlight of the weekend was the exceptional food; breakfast had plenty of choice and was delicious and the evening meals were cooked to perfection.

My Gladstone experience started very badly as (my biggest pet peeve) the bar maid failed to say hello or acknowledge my existence for a good few minutes - even though the bar was quiet - just because she was pouring a couple of drinks. This was later rescued when the manager appeared instead of her and as I had just... More

The Sunday lunch was very nice. The meal was well cooked and presented. The service was excellent. We will definitely visit again. A spacious restaurant with excellent outdoor eating area with lovely views towards Anglesey

Great value and quality along with lots of food. I just had a main course and did think about dessert but just had no room! It seems to be verging on gastro pub quality but with out the pretense!

We had lunch here for the first time today, having been told it is very good - and it is. My husband had ham, egg and chips (£7.95) and I had the Welsh cheddar and leek tart and chips, which at £12.95 I thought a bit pricey, however it was lovely and the chips were proper homemade ones. The décor... More
