Had heard good reports about the restaurant went here for lunch and ordered the lamb was told it was served pink but I would say it was undercooked it was extremely fatty and very tough and very chewy I only ate the potatoes and veg and when the waitress cleared our table she could see I had barely touched the... This Pub is so popular you need to book well in advance to get the time and day you need. Thus a two week wait. But it is so worth it. Despite it being yet another Sheps Pub they do have some variety of Beers on. But Wines are good if you are into them. The food is great and... More

First time at The Three Mariners and a really positive experience. We had the walker's lunch, 3 courses of excellent tasty and well presented food at an unbeatable price. There are other gastropubs in this area that could learn a lot, both in terms of quality of cuisine and price. Service was unfussy but attentive and good-humoured. All in all... More

We had meaning to try to eat here for some time and finally booked a table for a Friday lunch. The only time we could get a table was 12pm and was slightly concerned that we would be rushed as the restaurant was fully booked. Should not have worried the service was excellent all staff were polite and there was... More

Lovely restaurant with friendly staff who ensured service was very good. We had the 3 course lunch menu for £14.95 which was outstanding value given the quality of the food. Would thoroughly recommend this place but not surprisingly you need to book to ensure getting a table.

The Three Mariners is a very nice English pub with an amazing selection of excellent cask ales - not the boring English ales but the interesting, new 'British craft beer' that I find unique in many ways. Service is very friendly and the staff actually know what they are doing. Also free wifi and live music!

Friendly, good atmosphere, prompt service and very good food. Since we are fish eaters we usually don't get good seafood in pubs as they are oriented towards meat and seldom have a chef capable of well cooked sea fare. Well this one does and with flying colors. Two fish dishes turned out well. The only improvement I would suggest is... More

Easter Sunday evening. Restaurant full yet the service was speedy and very welcoming. Wine prices reasonable and food very good. Portions large which meant there was little space for a desert.
