We used Elvis’ water taxi from government port behind straw market for $15/pp for round trip ($10/pp one way). It was somewhat of adventure to track down boat driver as busy day in port. We arrived around noon on a Wednesday to find the place...nearly empty & quiet. More guests soon arrived & music (not live) started. We walked fairly limited shoreline and spent time in water before ordering food. Not best beach or view in my opinion. No worker on property observed to be wearing mask. Our food was ready with 15 minutes - it was simple but good. Ambiance lost by names being called over loud speakers to pick up food. We took boat driver’s tip to walk ocean beach path behind restaurant across island to Atlantic Ocean side. The 10-15 minute walk required crossing small bay inlet so low tide walk recommended given it was waist high (I’m 5’8”) then. While I would not say path is strenuous, uneven footing would make it challenging for some. The walk ended in beautiful, empty beach - much preferred to Chat N Chill chaos & crowd & made it 4 star review.More

This was a great place to spend Sunday afternoon. We took the Water taxi over. Everyone was very relaxed and happy. I watched my conch salad being made at the cute little conch hut. Watched them pull the conch out of the shell! The conch...salad was amazing. The Sunday pork was good as well.More

Stopped in at Chat 'N' Chill for lunch and a cold one after a day on the water (rental Whaler from Minn's Water Sports, Georgetown). The place to go when you're on the water. The rustic island feel you'd expect, burgers were delish (and you'll...wait for them), the drinks were cold, and the staff were friendly (even got an O-H- in response to my OSU hat!). If you're on the water -- you pretty much have to stop here -- why wouldn't you!More

We walked over to the Chat n Chill from the Peace and Plenty beach club on a Friday and Saturday. The conch salad and ribs were amazing. Pretty cool that you can feed the sting rays.

What a fantastic experience. KB and the entire team assure a great time on Stocking Island. The staff did a great just with social distancing and PPE in the ongoing COVID era. Be sure not to miss the friendly stingrays and definitely visit Ronaldo AKA...“ Da Conch Man”. Absolute best conch salad in the Caribbean.More
