Just about everything about this place was great. Their food was great, their atmosphere and vibe; not to mention the staff and EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE we received! Can't wait to come back.
Latitudes recently reopened after being closed for some time. So we decided to give it another try. Wow! We are so glad we did! We went on Taco Tuesday. You get a choice of chicken or fish tacos with a shot of tequila. We also...had the Caesar salad and wings as appetizers. We got one of each taco and they were delicious. We sat at the outdoor bar/patio overlooking the harbor. The view is stunning. A sea turtle even swam by. The bartender was friendly and kind. They have a nice menu and the prices are reasonable. We highly recommend Latitudes.More
We couldn’t get over the musty smell of this place. You had to go to the front desk of the resort to get a table, this was also the only waitstaff at the restaurant. We asked for the fettuccine which they were out of?!?! They...DID have a high chair for my toddler. Disappointed over all, we didn’t stay to eatMore
We booked reservations for 7 people at 8:30 on New years eve, they said there would be fireworks at midnight. We got there at 8:20.There was a large group in front of us and no hostess to be seen for at least 20 minutes, in...that time, None of the tables had food on them and we were not seeing a waitress either. The group in front of us told us there reservation was for 9 pm. A woman finally came out and asked us if we would sit outside. I said we made the reservation for inside but whatever is sooner as we had already been standing there for now 40 minutes. She said "just go outside and someone will seat you." So all 7 of us went outside, NO ONE was there to seat us and there were no tables empty! So all 7 of us walked back in and told her. She said ok I will clear a table for you, she starts to clear a table walks away, now another employee comes out and seats the 9pm group at the table she said she was clearing for us!! So we see her again and tell her "You said you were clearing this table for us" and she answers "you said you wanted to sit outside"! Now it is about 9:30 pm. We left and went home and made dinner dressed in our new years clothes. They chose to seat there 9pm reservation before there 8:30 Then she tells us that they seated the other group by accident! We went to splash a couple nights later and the people were amazing so sweet and friendly, what a warm welcoming atmosphere with good food good people and good fun! Go there instead!More
We stopped by Latitudes on our way back in from a fishing trip. The bar staff was very accommodating and friendly. The drinks were really good, especially the Bahama Mama and the coconut daiquiri.
Horrible service, worse food, and an overall terrible experience. When we asked the server about an item on the menu, she commented, "I don't like seafood. I only order hamburgers." Conch cakes were not conch cakes, but rather some sort of processed puff. Grilled mahi...mahi was overdone and tasted horrible. Over $120 later, we left disgusted. Would never return.More
We went to Latitude's on Valentine's Day. Waited 30 mins before the indifferent waitress acknowledged our presence. Only 3 other tables occupied. I can get used to slow service, that isn't a problem. We didnt mind the wait. Her cranky attitude was unnecessary, but I...can also overlook that. The food I could not overlook. It was terrible, not just bad, terrible. I see someone else commented on the "Catch of the Day" also being bad. Our was absolutely inedible, and was very far from fresh. No question it was out of the freezer (perfectly formed and smelled like it was defrosted a day ago). Stay away...More
We stopped at Latitudes sports bar to have a drink and watch the Patriots win the AFC east championship. (we are from Massachusetts so what a perfect way and place to celebrate the win!) Staff was friendly, drinks were great, and the food we ordered...as appetizers was delicious. Highly recommend Latitudes.More
As a frequent visitor to Exuma, I can say that every time I go to EBC I am very disappointed. I’ve heard that the manager that was managing is gone so maybe it has improved since then. I won’t be going back for dinner again....It’s very expensive. The food isn’t good. And the service is not good. The only good thing about this place has been the party on Friday.More
The food was very good, but not a ton of selection which we didnt mind. The view was amazing. The service was on point as well. We would definately return.
My husband and I were staying next door to this restaurant and heard they had great food. We waited anticipating until Tuesday evening when it seemed finally opened!! When we set down a very lovely lady came and asked us about drinks we ordered and...at this time my husband asked about fettuccine Alfredo which we had looked at in previous reviews and seemed a decent price . We were served very fast as we were the only ones here, the food was outstanding honestly the best Alfredo ever !!! The problem was with the fact that we weren’t aware of the price so total sticker shock for one glass of wine two beers house salad and two orders of the Alfredo one with shrimp other with chicken 120 us!!!!! Next time we will ask live and learn !More
Ok, so I can only eat conch salad so many times. Latitudes was right next to our hotel and had the best food on the entire Island of Georgetown. It off third alternative snacks and meals and the Decour was so cute. The fish tacos...were amazing and the service was quick and that is a lot to say for an island town! The servers actually smiled and everyone there was very kind it was a rare thing to find on the island! So, overall I would consider this place to be the fastest in service with the most beautiful food and great to color as well as a beautiful ocean viewMore
We tried Latitudes because of the great view of the water and the bar area outside looked inviting. It was sprinkling, so we sat at a table indoors, by the windows. Excellent view, but the service was just ok. Drinks also just ok. My husband...ordered the 'Catch of the Day' ($45), and when it came out, the fish looked like a heated up rectangle that was pulled out of a box in the freezer. It definitely wasn't worth $10, let alone $45. When we come to the islands in the Caribbean, we expect awesome seafood and fresh, large catch brought in that day. Thankfully, I had the chicken tacos and they were pretty good. Overall, it was a disappointment.More
We've eaten here probably 5 times over 2 trips the past 3 years. we really looked forward to eating here again this trip. sadly we were very disappointed. Service was VERY slow, no menu anymore - just a chalkboard with limited offerings. The sweet dishwasher...was filling in as waitress thank goodness because we may never have gotten our order in or received our meal if she didn't fill in. Wife and daughter asked for a second glass of wine which never showed up. Food was adequate but nothing like we were accustomed to from previous trips here. Hopefully this was a one off evening.More
