We stopped here after a morning on Tropic of Cancer beach. My mouth was watering thinking about the seafood nachos I read about in a review. A gal came to our table with a whiteboard listing the items to order. No nachos. I understand, it's an island and everything needs to be shipped in, it's better to run out than have waste. Instead, I ordered the seafood platter which included shrimp, lobster bites, and grouper fingers. It was delicious! My husband had the Orange Chicken which was also delicious! The atmosphere was quiet and subdued almost, a little Caribbean music in the background would have been nice. We enjoyed it though and would go back. Nice job Tropic Breeze!

Worth the drive

We stayed on Great Exuma and all other vacationers we met told us to take a day to visit Tropic of Cancer Beach and then have lunch at the Tropic Breeze. We were not disappointed- our drinks were twice the size of other bar and grill servings, the jerk pork stir fry and sizzling chicken and shrimp dishes were fresh fresh and delish- the location and view were amazing and we were able to hang all day on their beach and splash in the water and take loads of pictures on the rocks. Best on the island!

Fantastic all around

Tropic Breeze was one of the best meals I had in Exuma. I ordered the grilled seafood platter which came with sides of corn, rice and crab salad. The seafood platter included shrimp, fish and lobster. The amount of seafood was generous and more than I could eat! The crab salad was my favorite side and I could make an entire meal of it! The rum punch was also some of the best I had on the island. They do take credit cards, however I would recommend bringing cash just in case. When I first arrived, they advised me that they didn’t have power which means they couldn’t accept cards, no frozen drinks and they were working off a limited menu. The power did come back on while I was there, but just be prepared for that possibility as power outages aren’t uncommon in Exuma.

So worth the drive out

Close to tropic cancer beach and the food here was great. Although it was quite a windy afternoon we couldn’t take in the view while dinning, we sat inside to protect our food from flying off our table. We ordered Jerk Wings (pretty damn tasty), fried seafood platter (so damn good), fries and rice and peas and there coleslaw was very good. Friendly staff and great view. Must go if your on the island.

The most important dining stop you can make on the island.

The best on the island. Fantastic views, service and food. Cold beer as well. This is our favorite restaurant bon the island and one of my favorites anywhere. We wished we had eat there earlier in our trip, so we could have went to Tropic Breeze everyday but unfortunately we only got to try it on the last day of our trip. Chef Khristont provides a wonderful dining experience for his patrons and is willing to schedule a house call coming to your home and preparing your supper. We had New York strip and lobster poppers, peas and rice, slaw, and jerk seasoned chicken wings.

Lunch as part of a ship's tour with a Cordon Blue Chef

We met Khriston Turnquest and his staff who were excited to have us back (1st excursion on the 1st post-pandemic ship). They offered chicken tacos followed by several exquisite dishes including jerked wings. Everything was very efficient and tasted wonderful. Generous servings and cold local beer and other libations under shaded porch right at the blue waters and beachfront of Exuma. Wonderful experience. Didn't realize until after lunch that Khriston is a Cordon Blue graduate. But you could tell from the taste of the food.

Mediocre lunch

We went for lunch based on multiple good reviews, we were a bit disappointed. Menu consisted of eight items. It is absolutely a beautiful setting. Compared to a lot of the other restaurants we ate at in exuma we found the selection to be small the quality to be mediocre and the price to be exorbitant. They may have a more diverse menu at different times, we would consider trying it again

Absolute Perfection - Every Time

We have traveled all over the Caribbean and have eaten all over the Caribbean for 20 years, and this is the BEST lunch we’ve ever had. Many people love Santana’s and we’ve been many times. It’s very good. However Tropic Breeze just kills it. The chef is CIA trained and is making simply incredible food. The lobster is cooked absolutely perfect. Not chewy, and with a very thin tempura batter. Absolute perfection. The jerk pork stir fry has so many layers and just the right amount of spice. The seafood wrap is full of lobster, shrimp and grouper, topped with a delicious sauce. This place is amazing and I visit every time I’m on Little Exuma. Don’t miss it! Ask for Kareem - he’s a great waiter!

Don’t miss this amazing spot in Exuma! The food is amazing and the views are unbeatable. The customer service was lovely as we were greeted by the chef and had great conversation with the people working. Make sure you add this bar and grill to your list of restaurants when you visit the island!

Outstanding Food

Perfect spot for lunch, you get to look out over the water. I had the Surf & Turf Burger and my wife had the Seafood Platter. Both were delicious and I thought the burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had (definite top 5). Like everything in the Bahamas, the food is a little pricey. But overall would definitely recommend it.

Tropic Breeze Beach Bar & Grill is still the Best Food on Great Exuma!! Beautiful beach front view.....Chef Kriston also caters ( we like both venues ) Lobster Poppers are still by favorite but there's many great choices on the menu. Don't Miss It!!! r briggs

Highy recommend eating here. Outstanding food, service and view. Our group had lobster poppers (WOW), jerked wings, poached seafood platter, stir fried jerk pork, and for our non adventurous cheese burgers. Would order every one again. Top notch Goombay Smash. We will definitely be back!

Unforgettable Authentic Bahamian Lunch!

Warm Bahamian hospitality, delicious local fare and unbeatable Caribbean ocean views from every table. We came here for lunch after enticing recommendations from a regular American visitor and a local. We ordered Bahamian jerk pork and the seafood gyro which were superb! Thank you Kareem for all the warm hospitality and just making our experience special! Will definitely come back again and again! Its on our top one picks in the Exumas!

Best meal on island

We have eaten at some any places across the island but this was our favorite. the right mix of great food, island music and terrific views. We have the seafood nachos and grouper fingers. Both were the highlight of our trip. The menu only has 6-8 items and they are different depending on availability. We had the best Goomby Smash of trip and the rum punch was excellent as well. It is a long trip to get to this end of the island but well worth it

My very favorite restaurant.

The first time I walked into the restaurant I was in awe of the view. The staff made me feel welcome and were friendly. Chef Christont makes every thing look good as well as taste delicious. It's my happy place to eat in Exuma. I will be going back there in June and this is the first place I will go to eat.
