A very authentic Long Island experience.... Highly recommended fish, conch and other local meals. Rustic.

Very friendly people. Great atmosphere. Food is good but not outstanding. The red snapper is not fresh but the conch is. The conch salad is the best around.

A great spot to enjoy local cuisine, have a few drinks and meet locals. Be sure to try Max's famous conch salad. The food was also fresh and delicious.

My first trip to Long Island and everyone said " Max's Conch Bar is a must!" Well, they weren't kidding! Best conch salad and cracked conch I have ever had! Especially enjoyed sitting and chatting with Max! I highly recommend a visit or two!

On this, our second trip to Long Island, we stopped at Max's on the way to Deans Blue Hole. This great little spot looks straight from what you envision a Bahamian pub should be. We of course had to have the famous conch salad, and it was awesome! Made fresh in front of us, the smells of the ingredients that... More

Super quaint for an essentially road-side bar. I had the conch salad which was delicious and rice and beans and plantains, also delicious. Very nice staff working here. Friendly and willing to chat and tell stories. We kept trying to make it back to this place during our visit, but it was just a little too far from where we... More

This is an outdoor establishment with a bar that seats about 10 and several other tables. The owners were there every time we visited and were welcoming and very friendly. So were the regulars who made our visits fun and pleasant. Service was excellent at all times and food was very good and fresh. They have a full bar and... More

Max's Conch Bar was a great experience, with the conch salad made by Max himself. The food and drinks were great, and the location was very laid back and relaxing.

Cute little restaurant hut directly on the main boulvard but not very fresh! I had the conch salade but my belly was sick an hour later but for a Sands (beer) great stop or a delicous cocktail perfect spot! 5 minutes from the airport!

This unpretentious place was the best meal we had on our visit. Great food and service. The conch salad is the best I have ever had. Max makes it fresh each day. This is a must stop place while on Long Island!
