In all the years I've lived in CA, I've never eaten here, although I've always wanted to after hearing people rave about the pea soup. So today on our way home from a road trip, my kids and I decided to stop here and finally give it a try. Our waiter was not the friendliest person and he totally got... More

Stopped here on our way to San Francisco. The service was not the greatest. The chicken strips had no flavor and the we personally did not care for the pea soup that they are supposedly known for. The portions are nice size though. We had tried another location of pea soup Anderson Long time back and even at that time... More

We always stop here for a rest break as the bathrooms are spacious and super clean. We always pick up some cheddar cheese tubs to bring to friends we visit. There are crouton and cheese samples for you to try before buying. The gift shop is very nice and has a great selection of toys and stuffed animals. The bakery... More

I've passed by a few of these restaurants over the years but never stopped in, until now. Basically it's a diner with their speciality being pea soup. Well, when in Rome..."I'll have a bowl of pea soup please!" Actually, I checked out the specials board before sitting down at the counter. But I also checked out the menu...there's a pretty... More

This was our first time to eat at Anderson's after driving by many times. This place is old. Not just the building but, everything. The menu is old. The food is old. The people are old. Do not come here unless you are over 60. Slow, slow, slow. Food was bland and over portioned. Service was nice but, slow.

This is a cute quaint restaurant and hotel attached. I did eat in the restaurant and had very good service and the food was good as well. They have a gift shop that I bought a few trinkets from and was pleased at the price because I thought they would be more expensive. The only downfall is the construction on... More

After visiting the cemetery in Santa Nella we decided to try Pea Soup from Anderson's. We had the best experience. Walked in to there gift area and delicious looking Danish pastry. We came for soup and our waitress was so helpful, patient and efficient. We only wanted to split a sandwich (patty melt) and have their famous pea soup. To... More

It's been a long time since my last visit to Pea Soup Anderson's. The soup is the same, the coffee coffee cup stayed full and the bread rolls were plenty. It was just as I remembered which made my trip a bit more enjoyable. You can miss with a cup of soup at Pea Soup Andersons.
