The ambience is lovely, the ceviche is the best I could find in town, but the service was soooooo sloooooooow every time we went. And it's pricey for Pearl Lagoon. So, just make sure you have lots of time to kill when you head here (you're in Pearl Lagoon, so of course you have time to kill) and plenty of... More

The Queen Lobster is a fine place to stay if you are on your way to somewhere else on Nicaragua's Atlantic Coast, but the town of Pearl Lagoon does not have much to offer other than as a way station to the Pearl Cays or indigenous communities in the area. The accommodations are clean and basic, the Spanish owner was... More

The food here was delicious and we ate here several times during our stay. Homemade coconut bread, fresh fish daily prepared in local dishes like rondon, and great chicken wings were on the menu prepared with all local ingredients. We loved sitting and reading and watching the boats coming and going from the lagoon. Great place and from the looks... More

Excellent langosta. Nice people working there. Cool seabreaze but with loud music. The loud music is unavoidable in Nicaragua.

My favorite place to stay in Pearl Lagoon was the cabina over the water at Queen Lobster. I'd love to go back and stay a month! To watch the moon rise over the water and feel the cool breeze was lovely. It was fun to watch the fisherman paddle by in their dugout canoes. We ate many delicious meals at... More

Queen Lobster is probably the best place to eat in the area. The owners Pedro and Nuria are very friendly. Ask for daily activities/tours they organize. Spaghetti with shrimps, run down, etc.. all delicious.

Have eaten at the restaurant several times and really like the atmosphere, as it is perched over the Lagoon and built using traditional construction techniques. The seafood is also awesome!

Queen Lobster has a great location on the edge of the Lagoon, perfect for catching a breeze, watching the fishermen haul their nets from traditional dories and the commercial panagas speeding off to the other communities. The menu is fairly extensive for Pearl Lagoon. My favourite is the chicken salad, mainly because to find any kind of salad other than... More
