Where to eat at 9:30pm in Bedfordshire? On way back from the airport and went to Goa in Barton. Still open, Friendly staff who were attentive. Nice surrounding and elegant table settings. Wasn't to busy. Food was outstanding and very tasty. Ambiance and noise levels were pleasant and other diners considerate and not overbearing. Good time to go.

went to the Goa last night( normally have a takeaway on a Sunday which is always good) the service here is second to none, even on a busy evening, they always take great care of you. The food is so delicious and so much choice on the menu

Used to think this was a great place until our last few visits, now it seems consistently poor. There appears to have been some changes with staff and management recently which has resulted in confusion among staff PAINFULLY SLOW SERVICE! On our last visit we waited an hour and twenty minutes between starter and main course whilst witnessing hungry people... More

It's hard to get it wrong with a simple takeaway isn't it? Slow, stupidly slow service and every time inaccurate information on when your take out will be ready, so you end up sitting around for 20 mins in their cramped reception. Couple this with ok-at-best food and hence the title of this review. Plenty other options locally, try them... More

Cafe Goa is an absolute gem in Barton. We popped in for a quick bite after a performance by the local Bartender on Players. The restaurant has a cosmopolitan feel and the staff very welcoming. Goan seafood has a good reputation, and we were not disappointed - the goan fish curry was moist and beautifully cooked as were the prawns... More

Lucky for me I live in Barton Le Clay so Cafe Goa is literally just up the road,I am always amazed just how consistent the food & service is,never deviates from excellent, which is more than can be said for other restaurants that I have visited. The menu is not what I would call your "standard" type dishes & if... More

If your ever in the vicinity of Barton Le Clay and feeling hungry you must try GOA Indian restaurant. The place use to be a pub in younger days but now it's an excellent Indian restaurant. The staff are very friendly and helpfully regarding food selection. Just tell the head waiter how you would like your dish, very hot (curry... More

Last evening my wife and I ordered a takeaway as we normally do on a Friday after a long week at work. Much to our disappointment the curry took an hour to arrive and when it arrived it was cold. The portions for some reason were a lot smaller than normal and the meat in the curry was very tough.... More
