I asked for a salad and they were happy enough to make one for me I asked for no dressing it came with a nice dressing in separate container but when I looked closer the whole green salad was absolutely drenched in mayonnaise probably Best foods. Salad would have... More

Apparently has very recently got a new owner , a new coat of grey paint , and the new name . Quite average , really , with only a limited range of cold drinks for those wishing to take a short break on the drive north . Staff are friendly enough .... but its best feature is a seat outside... More

Nice little café located tight in the heart of Kawakawa directly opposite the Hundertwasser toilets. I drove through Kawakawa and circled back to try this café as it seemed to have a little more life then others in town. It was a Sunday afternoon and the café was super busy with a big groups of 12 just arrived before me.... More

Fairly good range of food here - service a bit off, asked for coffee in takeaway cup got all food in takeaway bags too? Food was ok - nothing amazing - nice place to sit down would try somewhere else next time

Basic country Cafe. Coffee was good and they had a reasonable range of foods. Locals were popping in steadily so it is fairly popular and friendly. If you need a coffee or snack this will do the job.

The food is good, the service is a little slow (but so is the whole town) and the view of the really odd toilets across the road is worth the visit alone.

We ordered two flat whites to go and it took 35 minutes. There were no apologies or updates. Easily the slowest coffee I've ever ordered.
