Took my mother there for a treat. We were ignored from when we walked in the door from when we left. All in all we sat for over 30 minutes waiting for service. It wasn't even busy. Waitresses were all in a huddle at the bar having great craic with the barman. I went up and asked for menus but... More

I chose the brass monkey burger and it was divine !! Would recommend to anyone. The service was great and i couldnt fault it. The establishment is up to date but also has an old pub feel. Greeted with a smile and nothing was too much bother. Will be returning.

Vegetable Enchilada is a wrap filled with fried onions and a few pieces of yellow pepper; not a bean in sight (or any other vegetables, for that matter). Ask about beans, and you get a blank stare... they've only ever heard of green ones! Vegetable Stir Fry has probably a table-spoon of salt per portion. Don't think the 3rd veggie... More

Good selection on the menu at reasonable prices .Plenty of seating that also gives you some privacy in most of the areas. Service was OK ,it was a quiet night with only two servers on duty so a little slow at times.

Dropped in on the way home after visiting family. First time here, decor lovely. Sat at the open fire and it was wonderful. Food was really fantastic, we had 2 burgers and the roast special which was gammon. Service was friendly and welcoming and the food did not disappoint when it arrived, although I got the gammon I tasted the... More

We had a family meal here on a Sunday. The décor was fine large airy room but there were two huge TV's blaring at Sunday lunchtime. Also lurking under the TV were a few drunks also not nice at Sunday lunchtime The food was great value really delicious and good choice. Lovely friendly staff. Not sure if the TV's are... More

Nice building and quite well decorated but service and food leave a lot to be desired. Went with wife and we both had a fairly miserable experience. Staff were pleasant but seemed to have absolutely no enthusiasm. This plave has been better previously. Avoid if possible

Visited this pub for a pre show drink and although had visited some years ago for lunch was greatly suprised by the refurbishment that has taken place since then.Friendly barman time for chat and explained new surroundings, plenty of space and very comfortable seating a must to visit and enjoy.
