On a whim we decided to nip over to Kilnsey to the Tennant Arms for lunch one cold April Saturday. We had the dogs with us, and having being prior we new they were welcome, but we checked to make sure before entering. The Bar area was warm (real fire roaring in the back wall) and inviting and we were... More

We ate here a couple of times during our holiday in Kilnsey and were impressed with the food. The steaks, burgers and fish & chips were all good fare. A little pricey but theprobably wirth it considering the size of the portions we got. It's an old fashioned pub with plenty of beams and taxidermy so maybe not to everyone's... More

We visited on 2 nights, and on both occasions they were out of Lamb which was on the menu - the lasagne was disappointing but the steaks were good as was the Yorkshire supper, - a gammon topped with cheese and egg. Great fire in the bar area and plenty of tables in other rooms.

Couldn't get into any pubs/ restaurants around Grassington over the Dickensian weekend festivals in December, travelled out less than 5 miles to the Tennant Arms Hotel in Kilnsey for an evening meal. Great food , great atmesphere, excellent choice of beers and wines. Would recommend this restaurant to any staying near bye.

We have been visiting this pub occasionally for several years now and would have rated it 4 or even 5, but our most recent visit was somewhat of a disappointment. Quality of the crag burger was very mediocre, meat was very dry, as was the bun. The other meals were ok. When we came to pay we were charged more... More

Called in on the off chance for a thirst quenching beer. Landlord showed me caverey and I was hooked. Excellent choice of meats and lots of vegetables. I will certainly be returning with my wife in the near future.

Called in for a drink on our way home after a day out in the Dales. We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed sitting in the garden catching the last rays of sunshine. The food being brought out looked lovely. My only negative comment would be that a tidy up of the garden is well overdue. What a... More
