The food was very good. The French fried potatoes were different, but good. Good beer selection. Can eat inside or outside.

We stayed here, it was very reasonable and because it is also run by national trust you get in complimentary to the visitors center. We watched an unreal sunset and had a lovely email meal with some hot whiskeys, the decor was really old fashioned but I liked it and it was comfortable and very convenient to visit the causeway

Thank you for telling us of your recent stay. I am delighted to hear that you had such a great time. The theme of the hotel is to step into Old World Charm to fit in with the age of the building built in 1836. It was a pleasure to look after you and hope to see you return again... More

We went for lunch. There were hordes of people outside but the restaurant was not busy which should have been a clue. The food was ok not bad, but not really good either. If your hungry, it will suffice.

We only stopped for drinks and a snack but we received a warm welcome. Beers and wines and cups of coffee served promptly - and some really nice sandwiches and chunky chips. Depending on the time of course, worth a stop over if you have been out walking and legs are weary

We were recently able to take in the Sunday Carvery at the Causeway Hotel and it was wonderful. The selection was great, the quality was excellent. Unfortunately for us we happened to be there for 'Mother's Day', so it cost us £7pp more than it usually would even though we didn't participate in the face painting or receive a daffodil... More

We checked into this hotel as a base for sighting seeing, the hotel is owned by the National Trust and is well maintained. Had a nice stop there for a bowl of soup. Next to the Causeway so it is certainly handy enough. Not sure about a full meal but imagine those are good, too.
