Having a holiday house in Bushmills I have visited here a few times with family both for lunch and dinner. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. As for the food it is simply gorgeous and a filling homely meal!! The price is excellent for what you receive- always love visiting here

Traffic was crazy around the Giant Causeway, and we needed a place close to have lunch. We stopped at the Smuggler's Inn. I had a smoked salmon sandwich that was a little too heavy on the horseradish, and my husband had fish and chips which were the usual, frozen and deep fried. The Guiness was a quick pour. The lunch... More

Very busy and crowded. Staff are friendly and try hard, but are just too busy to give efficient service. Kids loved the brown and yellow food - not the place to visit if you enjoy a vegetable.

The Smugglers Inn was ok nothing to write home about. Not much atmosphere. The food seems hit and miss. What we ate was not very hot and we do like hot food. The staff were pleasant enough. I had a diet coke as a drink but it was flat. Was not going to revisit on our trip.

My sister and I decided to eat here after viewing the Causeways. There was no wait and very few people there. My sister got some chicken and I got the muscles. The muscles were the best muscles I have ever had. I would recommend them for anyone who enjoys muscles. My sister's chicken was also very delicious. A great dinner... More

The quaint inn has a brilliant pub, serving great value and great tasting food. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The seafood chowder could not have been better - it was so DELICIOUS I would consider visiting Northern Ireland just to have it again! And the views over the beach and seashore make it that much more special.

We decided to stop at The Smugglers Inn on the way to visit the Giant's Causeway, and what a great decision that was. The staff were charming and very polite. The restaurant had a some lovely features character. But most of all the food... it was served in good time, and looked fantastic and tasted even better. It was child... More

We visited the Smugglers Inn with our 2 children on a Thursday out of season. We were welcomed on arrival and shown to our table. The menu was varied and although it stated childrens meals were for 10 and under only they did allow our older child to order from the kids menu. The food arrived quickly and there was... More

Found this place expensive for lunch. A steak sandwich for lunch was good but that's it... no chips or garnish with the plate for 8 pounds.
