We visited this poor excuse for a restaurant at the weekend. I feel I can only list the disasters that happened as there are too many to detail. I had planned on speaking to management the next day, but after reading recent reviews and speaking to friends, I feel a bad dining experience it quite a regular occurrence at 55... More

Ground level was busy so we were ushered downstairs into the bistro. Wish we hadn't bothered. After a long queue as one poor girl was on her own we ordered and sat amongst a sea of dirty tables again only two poor waiting staff. Got my order wrong and when I walked it back up and waited at the side... More

Such an amazing place to have a restaurant. What a shame the food is sub standard. Just seemed to me like it's all frozen food then thrown into a deep fat fryer or microwave placed onto nice dishes with a little dressing and Bob's your uncle. Sorry, not good enough!

Called here on a Friday evening, very busy but there were tables available. We've had breakfast here before and it was great however this was not to be repeated. Restaurant was offering 3 courses for price of main course, we had cheesy bread and deep fried brie for starters which tasted like it was straight from Iceland (other frozen food... More

We were visiting Portrush for the afternoon and popped in here for lunch. It was very busy with it being the easter holidays but we were seated immediately in front of the huge glass windows with amazing views over the sea. There was a special offer of 2 courses with a drink for £10 which was fantastic value. The portions... More

There was a time, many moons ago, when 55 degrees offered a decent meal with a pleasant view. The good news is that the view is still pleasant. The food is sadly substandard, think 80s pub grub and you have to order three courses of the stuff (3 courses for the price of the main course). Service is also highly... More

Terrible service, terrible food and terrible experience. Left waiting, staff don't want to be there and they are totally ill prepared and lacked experience. Take too many walk ins and can't manager them. I used to love this place but won't be back!
