Willie Gregg the bartender was amazing took special car to make us feel at home. We shared a Guinness and a cocktail. Then up to the bistro for a wonderful Irish steak and sea bass. Afterwards upstairs to the lounge to enjoy some live music; very classic Irish experience!

Lovely wee bar with really friendly staff. Feel really at home in this bar. We call in when we are down staying in Portrush and have a few drinks. Craic is always great. Will definitely be back.

We placed our orders at the bar, then a server brought our drinks out and promptly dumped two glasses of soda in my lap! The crowded aisles and tables didn't help. They all profusely apologized but did not... More

Barman was so nasty we walked out. Served me a pint in a plastic glass and I asked politely if I could have a proper glass as I don't like plastic glasses and others had glasses. He refused and said only Guinness served in a glass. The attitude he gave with it was nothing short of arrogant and rude so... More

A famous pub to stop for a pint of Guinness in Portrush and no matter how busy the staff are friendly and welcoming. Try the Jawbreaker Gin with ginger ale and a slab of Honeycomb either in the Harbour Bar or upstairs... delicious and if it's cold outside you may be lucky enough to get a seat in the snug... More

Take a pint in Portrush Yacht Club (£3.10 for members) or in The Quays (£2.50 during a match). These bars also are very friendly and have great service.

Having moved over to Scotland a number of years ago, we are sure to visit the Harbour Bar every time we are back to see family. Staff are great and other than at the Guinness brewery in Dublin, I doubt you will get a finer pint of Guinness anywhere else on the island of Ireland...bold claim, but it is always... More
