Highly recommended. Tasty full English breakfast, well cooked and presented with a choice of toast or fried bread included for only £5.25. Excellent service. The best full English we've had in a long time.

I popped in here just as all the shops were closing in Bakewell - i.e. about 5pm. There were several tables occupied and I was given a warm welcome and seated quickly. A pot of Earl Grey went down very well whilst I had a look at the menu. I chose the roasted goat's cheese and walnut salad (think that... More

First impressions the restaurant seemed ideal. A good menu, venue and atmosphere. However, when ordering the woman behind the till was cold and extremely unhelpful. She wasn't knowledgable about the ingredients in the mains (luckily my friend and I have no allergies or this could have been a serious issue). I asked if I could have penne shaped pasta rather... Fantastic food for a very reasonable price. Family of 5 had the specials for lunch. Pizza looked fantastic, made to order. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I had the "mini" fish and chips but where mini came from ?? Service great, friendly, nothing too much trouble. Would highly recommend this place, Cake and coffees also great with homemade chocolate cake generous... More

2A 2C all eating hot dinners. 3 pasta dishes & I had salmon with a side of chips. Mine was absolutely delicious. My partner had Bakewell pudding which he said was nice as he'd only had tart before but he didn't need to have it again! Staff mostly young & inexperienced. Would definitely revisit again. Not too expensive.

A lovely place to enjoy a meal or just a coffee and cake. All orders are taken at the bar and also you pay when you order, A good extensive menu, well stocked bar and delicious desserts. Can get extremely busy and crowded so best to avoid peak times. Friendly staff and happy to help with additional requests - add... More

A very friendly waiter (Hugh) had kindly reserved a table for us in the window. Service was gracious and prompt. My husband had soup which he said was delicious, very well seasoned. I had a warm goats cheese salad, again delicious with lots of clean, fresh salad. Good portions too. For mains, I had steak pie, very tasty with fresh... More

Often call in here if we are in the area as they serve all day breakfast and breakfast cobs. They also have a good selection of cakes if you are looking for just a snack and also offer full lunch menu. We have always been happy with the service and the food. There is also a shop on side for... More

Called with friends for fish and chips on Sunday. Can't believe that the £4.00 'Misc food' added to the bill was for 4 slices of bread and butter!! All round very poor quality food and not one member of staff asked that all so simple question in the customer service handbook 'was everything alright with your meal?'
