Nice little find for me and the Mrs to shelter from the August rain. Had a lovely pot of team and some Derbyshire rarebit which was lovely. Very relaxed atmosphere and a lovely bit of ABBA coming over the speakers. 😃

It was our first visit, made us very welcome, food was served quite quick and how lovely and fresh it all was. If you don't manage to eat it all they are more than happy to pack it up for you. Excellent will be visiting again on Thursday with my daughter and grandchildren.

Staff were so rude. We wanted a plain scone not fruited because this wasn't available we decided to leave and apologised for having to do so. Male staff comment was " oohs aren't we good enough then" won't be going back

Style over substance really. Poor dry brought in scones. Plain sandwichs. Yes the cake stand is impressive but basically it's nothing an average house cook couldn't produce. Take my advice it's also very very expensive. Avoid

Great food, great character, and considering it's position in a lovely little court, great value for money.

A top quality, warm and friendly tea room. The decor and surrounding are top class. The service was brilliant and really friendly. Would definitely come again. The scones were ace!

This is a quant little tea room in a nice side street of Bakewell. It is quite small which means you may have to wait for a table indoors. The staff were very accommodating and despite us visiting during the lunch time rush, they asked us to take a seat in the lovely court yard while we waited for a... More

We stopped here on the way home for visiting the Peak district, its a delightful little tea shop with excellent menu and great taste in decor. I can recommend the Bakewell Tart it was very fresh and delicious. Gary (I think this was his name) had a lovely sense of humour and was so quick and efficient, the eating area... More
