Went in a large group for afternoon tea. We were thoroughly spoiled, service was outstanding, so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The food was amazing... Thankyou!

Amazing food, freshly prepared. Exterior and interior is stunning, very unique. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be coming back.

If you are visiting Bakewell we would highly recommend the Lavender tea rooms. A warm vibrant atmosphere, great food and lovely friendly service. Special mention to Jan Pixie and Lesley whose humour added to a great experience.....Lisa and Paul.

Popped in for tea and cake and had a wonderful time with the baker of the cakes. A great character! We sat in the small back garden, and the atmosphere was jolly and entertaining. We saw the full afternoon tea go by - looked delicious....More

smiths island car park holds aproximatly 500 cars and is £2 for up to 4 hours and £4 all day. if your in Bakewell for 3 days or more there are car park concessions @ £6 for three days 7am - 6pm only.

Hello, thank you for you enquiry. Unfortunately we are closed on Boxing Day. We are open Christmas Eve from 9am to 3pm and re-open on Wednesday 28th December 11am to 3pm. Kind regards Lesley

We are a very traditional English tearooms serving high quality teas and coffees and delicious locally sourced food in a stylish and timeless setting. Our spectacular five tier afternoon teas are a delight on the eye and the palate, just make sure you are very hungry on arrival as the portions are generous!
