Visited on 24/6, initially just for a drink before we had a wander to check out the various food establishments in Bakewell. We were welcomed by a smiling young lady behind the bar, who offered us a taste of the brews on offer as we...More

Firstly, I'd like to say thank you for leaving your feedback regarding your visit. We do get great compliments regarding our chips and our oil is changed very regularly as for the chips being cold I can only apologise but I am glad we were...More

Thank you for your feedback- I have passed it on to the relevant management. Our steak and ale pie with hand-cut chips and mushy peas is the most popular dish on our menu. I am very surprised and really disappointed to read you didn't enjoy...More

Set in the lovely town of Bakewell where you are spoiled for choice when it comes to eateries we chose the wheatsheaf. It looked like a well kept pub and didn't look like it was part of a chain. I ordered steak and ale pie...More

My husband and I visited here for lunch on Wednesday. Service at the bar and for food was good. We both had the ploughmans which was tasty and a good size portion.
