Have been going to this cafe since it opened over 15 years ago always served good food and drink we used to go with my son when he was young and he enjoyed the children's options.

Have visited a couple of times and have not been disappointed. Friendly welcoming service and a nice, laid back atmosphere. Fantastic coffee which I had not encountered before. Fussy kids were very happy with the toasted sandwiches and jacket potatoes. I loved the pate and more recently had the ciabatta which was tasty and came with a really simple but... More

Popped in this afternoon for a well needed warm drink and were pleasantly surprised by the great selection on offer. We are both lovers of white chocolate so opted for the white hot chocolate and had a brownie to share. The drinks were really nice as was the brownie. Only criticisms would be that the brownie came warm (which was... More

Find this little place whilst walking round Bakewell. Friendly service and our food arrived quickly. Lovely hot soup and fresh bread.

Went here for a snack whilst visiting Buxton. Very friendly staff and great food and drink - the Bakewell pudding specially recommended.

Called in here for a snack today. The offer was a jam and cream scone or cake, with any hot drink for £4.25. Excellent value. The scone was warm and delicious, very filling and satisfying. Lovely friendly staff too in a cosy environment on a cold and drizzly day..

Our 1st visit today but won't be the last. Wide and varied menu with something for everybody at very reasonable prices, quite a surprise as most Bakewell eateries seem to add a premium for location. Generous portions served quickly and with a smile. Worth finding!

Always like to call here for a pudding when visiting Bakewell and as usual we were not disappointed. The food is of good quality and very reasonably priced, but it's the desserts that we love the most, absolutely gorgeous. Would recommend this place to anyone

This is my go to place in Bakewell fo lunch. I have been on my own, with family and friends and it never disappoints. Even of you have to wait, th food is worth waiting for and the service is always top notch.

This tea room is a little hidden away and is not particularly charming in appearance compared to some others but the Bakewell pudding with custard is enough for 2 and worth every penny! There is no lock on the men's toilet cubicle - please note!
