Was really excited to visit the tea rooms at chatsworth as I had never been before, was a Xmas gift for me and my daughter, Chatsworth its self is stunning, but I am afraid to say the afternoon tea we had was a let down, so disappointed and at £45 per person it's a rip off, 1 pot of tea,... More

A group of us recently came to the Cavendish as part of a Hen Do, the whole process from start to finish was wonderful. In a group of 8 of us there were 3 of us with special dietary requirements ( 2 Vegan and 1 Dairy Free), when I rang and booked Maureen was wonderful and reassured me that was... More

Booked as treat for my American relatives and it certainly was a treat. Lovely food and superb service. Great setting, and of course the house and garden are incredible. Nothing like it in the states!

We visited Chatsworth and the Cavendish Rooms courtesy of St James Place. Set in the context of the Peak District and Chatsworth House and gardens we had a great time and a delicious high tea. Would go again.

Visited on Wednesday 13th April with my 2 sisters and mum to celebrate mum's 70th birthday. Lovely setting. Initial impressions very good. Shown quickly to table, very attentive staff throughout visit. We all had the afternoon tea. Large selection of tea, came in very attractive little teapots. Delicious sandwiches. The tomato tart was very tasty. We all enjoyed the selection... More

Staff very pleasant and helpful.Good variety of teas on offer, sandwiches fresh and tasty. I felt the pastries were a bit synthetic and the smallest scones ever( not a patch on the ones in the farm shop) the posset fresh and tangy. I have much better afternoon teas!

We traveled to Chatsworth House yesterday to use the vouchers our family gave us for Christmas 2014 The restaurant was quite busy but we did not feel rushed, our afternoon tea looked & tasted delicious & was served on Dudson tableware (made in Staffordshire). Thank you to our family & the attentive polite staff at this lovely restaurant.

Booked for an afternoon tea for my Mums birthday. It was just as I would expect from an afternoon tea, and much better than some I have had. All washed down with a lovely jug of Pimms. There was more than sufficient, in fact we had some sandwiches and cake left which we took home with us. Service was great... More

We received vouchers for Afternoon Tea with champagne as a gift but were aware of the high cost involved so expectations were pretty high. The staff were very obliging and friendly and the setting lovely. The starters are served in a tiny coffee cup so a little difficult to fork out. The finger sandwiches were very fresh and a there...
