When we sat down, we had a wide range of food items to choose from and ordered at the bar. Food came out quickly and we were met with our friendly waitress, Carolina, and lovely looking dish. The food was lovely as well as the experience, you definitely recommend!

Visited here while on a long weekend away. Lots of dogs, which is fine being a dog owner. But don't like them next to me while eating. Would of been nice for a area free from dogs. Food real standard nothing positive really. Real standard pub food.

Great service and ambience each time I visit this place. The beer and food are both excellent. I will be going for a meal there every time I visit Bakewell.

My partner and I ate here during our short break in Bakewell. The pub was a bit overrun with dogs and although it's not really a problem for us to allow dogs in pubs, it would have much better if we could have found a table away from them. The food is standard Greene King fare, i.e. Chef Ping does... More

Fantastic service by carolina who couldn't do enough for us and our dog! The food was great, we had steaks and of course had to have the bakewell tart. The food was all excellent and great value. Nice atmosphere, cosy pub and welcoming staff. Would highly recommend especially for any dog owners.

Great location with free parking. Would recommend buying the breakfast as very hearty and will fill you up for the day. The rooms are big with a seating lounge area. I would advise the owner put a chest of drawers in there as there is nowhere to put your undies etc.i would also advise they got the wood burner on... More
