Just popped in for a sandwich and drink, the staff were very busy the poor souls, but they were helpful despite being rushed off their feet. The food is good if you want to grab a bite.

I believe this place may now be called JJs, we popped in here having visited the Matlock Victorian Christmas Market. Nice clean tables, pleasant staff, we ordered from the counter, a lot of locals in here which is always a good sign. We ordered soup...More

We enjoyed a luxurious afternoon tea for two! The sandwiches and cakes and savouries were to die for and we enjoyed watching the remembrance parade from the cafe window. Lovley Experience

I'm surprised by the mixed reviews on here. We had a great experience, the staff were really friendly and the food we couldn't fault. We had sandwiches and the bread was lovely... along with great coffee and the hot chocolate was loved by my lad.

Ah, how far this cafe has sunk and has continued to. Poor communication between all staff whilst handling my food order got it wrong twice! bad hygiene with food and awful prices. Don't bother coming here lots of other cafes in town to choose from.

This was our first visit since the décor had changed, has there been a change in ownership? My wife placed the order and we had not been served either drinks or food after about 25 minutes. She queried this with the waitress, and then a...More

Recommended to us, and well worth the visit. This is a lovely little coffee shop/deli in the centre of Matlock. We called in for morning coffee and were unable to resist the homemade scones on offer. There was a really good selection of cakes, and...More

Great little deli. The mixed ploughman's had cheese, pork pie, huntsman's pie, quiche, fruit and salad so it's a great way to sample everything.
