We were recommended PeliDeli by the friendly staff at Stanley Fearn Cycles. The interior is really nice - I particularly liked the solid wood furniture. We both went for jacket potatoes - I had the sweet potato version as a jacket potato for the first time. The fillings were delicious and the portion size was plentiful. The service was spot... More

Cakes to die for, orange and cranberry a must, normal coffee menu not your normal options for soft drinks but if that is what you want go to a supermarket. Overlooking the park which was due to have a Christmas Victorian market so good location.

We were looking for somewhere to have lunch in Matlock and came across the Peli. It looks inviting and the décor inside is warm and welcoming. We didn't have to wait too long for a table for 4 even though it was quite busy. The menu has a good selection of meals and lighter bites and the Panini's that my... More

Once again a friend and I had lunch here, and again I have to say the food was very good, and the staff are still very friendly. It was very busy as it was half term, but we didn't have to wait too long before our meal came.

we had lunch in this cafe as my daughter recommended their Ploughmans. It was the most varied and generous Ploughmans I have had. It included quiche, scotch egg, pork pie and all the usual trimmings. Well worth the money.

I went with my family whilst we were on holiday in Derbyshire. The menu is standard coffee-shop fayre but the quality of the food and beverages was high and the waiting staff were friendly and helpful. Plus the design and decor were pleasant and welcoming. The cafe is obviously popular as it was full when we went (we were lucky... More

Town centre location and pleasant surroundings but the food was rated on the expensive side and the staff slow to fulfil orders. Coffee went cold while waiting for the cake. Not much choice.

Not been been to Matlock in years. Wandered in on a sunny September Sunday. Counter service was prompt and coffee and cake very good. Would call again for lunch. Everything looked good.

Stopped here for a quick lunch with my wife when passing through Matlock. Was the most appealing coffee shop in Matlock! Inside design is nice and outside fables are good. We shared a large sandwich which was excellent. Good bread and filling (ham, cheese and chutney) and well presented. We then had scones which were OK although had that "factory"... More

My wife and I have been here several times and we always find the staff welcoming and friendly. The coffee is good quality and cakes are fresh and tasty. The fruit smoothies are also very good. You can sit at tables with benches, high stools by the windows or small pavement tables. There are 4 poke stops nearby for the... More
