Used to love this place but boy are they expensive now. Everything I usually ordered has gone up in price by about £3. It was expensive to begin with but I don't want to pay £10 for a full English breakfast when the quality is literally greasy spoon.
Big let down. I'll come back if prices become more reasonable.

We randomly stopped here for lunch en route to Dartmouth and were pleasantly surprised. I chose Cheese on Toast with a cheese fondue dip and salad. It was delicious and reasonably priced. My partner enjoyed a Cheese and Ham Omlette which came with salad and chips. Service was friendly and efficient. We may well visit again on our way home.

Very glad to have found this place. Conveniently located for our weekend trip to Lyme Regis and other coastal hotspots - but more economical than the alternatives we looked at. It had all the facilities we needed. Everything was nice and clean. Breakfast was good. Didn't have time to try other meals, but it seems a popular cafe/restaurant. Will certainly go there again.

I popped in this morning to sample the breakfast having driven past several times before and I was not disappointed. Everything was top notch including the quality of the ingredients that were used to make a superbly cooked and presented meal accompanied by a swimming pool sized mug of tea.. The service by both the staff (including the chef) was also top draw.

Went in for a quick breakfast which wasn't quick at all. Waited 30 minutes for it and it wasn't even busy. Lady Chef and so called manager was very rude to my partner and was very rude to her staff. Fried breakfast was cheap ingredients and very over priced and she had no idea how to cook fried eggs as they came out half cooked. The other staff including mercedes were lovely shame about the manager ruining a place that could be really nice. Unfortunately we won't be visiting again because of this terrible manager and the overpriced and undercooked food.

We had been on holiday and was travelling back home, we decided to stop and have something to eat. It was such a lovely friendly atmosphere, the 2 ladies out the front were helpful and friendly. We didn’t know what we had to do but a lovely lady explained everything and made it very easy for us to understand, we went and sat down at our table. Food came out fast even with it being busy, the food was absolutely lovely, I thanked the chef after 2 empty plates of food, he was also very polite and friendly. It was such a lovely visit and i will definitely being going back again! The one thing I won’t forget and every place needs is friendly polite staff and good food we had both of them.

We chose the Chilli con Carne and the Beef Curry, and after a wait of 20 minutes I went to the counter to ask about progress. The chef informed me that she was taking them out of their frozen containers to be defrosted so there would be a further wait. Eventually after another 15 minutes we received the food. It was difficult to understand that the server sat playing with her phone, another person maybe was in charge but didn’t seem to do very much and the chef could only handle I table at a time. There were 3 occupied tables with a maximum of 2 people on each. Never again. The food however was quite tasty and hot!

Have just stopped here. Followed the national guidelines masks on, NHS app, hand sanitizer, waited to be seated by staff and shown to a table. Staff all wearing masks and visors.
Ordered our food with the very nice staff member. A few minutes later a man walked in without a mask and walked straight into the food prep area, into the kitchen and back out,then back in. Chatting inappropriately close to several staff members. Wandering all round. Masks protect other people from you, not the other way!
I said to a staff member about this man in the food area with no mask on, she looked and said it was the owner. I said that I didn't care who he was he should be wearing a mask and abide by the rules the same as the rest of us. She said she would tell him. He shouldn't need telling, shame on you. Don't know why you think that you are different yo everyone else. You are putting everyone at risk, especially your staff. Maybe some hygiene guideline training is needed by you to protect us from you!

not only did we wait 30 minutes for a small breakfast, after going in 3 different times to enquire about how long left there was for the food to arrive they consistently said it wouldn't be long, the final time we asked they said 25 minutes was the minimum wait time however, hadn't actually told us that at all. Finally the breakfast arrived and they hadn't even included the hash browns. We went back in, they didn't apologise and said we'd have to wait another 25 minutes for them to cook them. The lady cooking took her sweet time and had no urgency, she was rude and overall the bad place to visit

Arrived at 12:30 on the way back from holiday for a quick snack. Was advised by the lady behind the counter that they would not be serving food because they were short staffed and the staff who were there would need to take their break very soon as they hadn’t had one yet. Although being short staffed is obviously not desirable, one does wonder why all the staff within a cafe would insist on having a break at peak lunchtime. We still ordered four cappuccinos to go and were told to wait at a table. Once the cappuccinos arrived, I started putting the sugars in for our drinks and overheard the same lady asking her colleague “what those two were hanging around for”, referring to my partner and me. For what I’d hoped would be an enjoyable lunchtime experience, we were all left with a bitter taste in our mouths and I would recommend you give this one a miss.

The worst breakfast I have ever had in my life. Massively overpriced considering how shocking the quality was. The service was terrible and the staff were very rude and unwelcoming. Would recommend eating food out of the bins before going to this place and that is not an exaggeration.

I visited the restuarant during a work trip and found the breakfast to be amazing!. It was full when I entered but the staff still managed to find me a table. Though there were many other diners present the staff took order promptly and I was served one of the best breakfasts I have had in a very long time with 10 minutes of being there. The staff are friendly and professional. I cannot recommend this amazing restuarant more highly. In the past it has not had the best name but the current owners/management are spot on!!! Definitely worth a visit. You won't be disappointed!!!

On our way to Brixham we stopped off here for a bite to eat mid way. We signed in as requested and found a table and ordered food etc. We required some condiments so got up to get them only to be shouted at by a very miserable lady behind the counter. We apologised and explained we didn’t know the rules. Food was very average for the money spent. On our way home we again stopped off for a bite to eat. I used the facilities and went in to meet up with family members who were already seated. The same lady behind the counter shouted at me about not signing in. I tried to explain I was putting belongings down with family to be met with rolling eyes and shrugging shoulders. Also it was far to cold in there as they insist on having the doors all wide open. Picked up belongings and left immediately. If you don’t want people in don’t open or at least talk to customers with a little respect. Manners cost nothing. One family custom lost.

The worst and most shocking experience nobody minds a 20 minute wait on food , however not a single customer was advised not even for take away services.
I felt the need to begin advising them myself.
What I found really shocking aside the awful under cooked food was the staffs. Refusal to allow a 3 year old little girl to have sausage and chips when they sausage egg and beans as the meal followed by chicken nuggets and chips fish fingers and chips etc .
This is not a place I will ever enter again unless it changes hands .
This is our second visit the first was just as bad but we thought we would give it a second chance .

We stayed a night while visiting family and were given a very warm welcome. Room was at back of motel so no problem with road noise. Bed comfy, everything clean, good shower. Breakfast was excellent and again, staff at breakfast went the extra mile to make us feel our custom was valued. Would recommend and would stay again.
