Very friendly welcome and excellent Sunday lunch. The beef was pefectly cooked and generous portions. Roast potatoes were delicious and plenty of vegetables and extra gravy. The staff were very attentive and well organised. I had not been for a few years but will definitely...be back soon. Really enjoyable lunch.More

Probably the best hummus ever... honestly didn t realise it could have so much flavour.. We were 12 people, some more, some less, plant based ... The seasonally inspired menu is delicious and everyone simply loved their meal.

We have visited many times and always had excellent food and service and today was no exception. High quality, well presented food, particularly the steak. Would highly recommend.

We are very fussy with restaurant steaks, and would safely say that we will order again. Great food, good wine, attentive and friendly, and great for dogs too.

We are always enormously impressed with the food and service at The Cadogan and always go there for special occasions, particularly when my parents visit from Kent-they love it there. The seasonal menu is always delicious and it’s often hard to choose what to eat....All the staff are lovely but one is exceptional-Matt. Praise where praise is due, he really makes the experience and is an absolute credit to the company brand. We were still talking about his exceptional hospitality the day after our visit and he made our Mother’s Day extra special. We will definitely be back!More

Today (Mothering Sunday) was my second visit, having been once before for a Christmas lunch last year. The Christmas lunch was excellent & was the reason I wanted to return with family today. Our roast lunch was just as good. The quality of food, drink...& service is top notch. We all had a great afternoon & will return. Thank youMore

We called in after Ampton races, as we had before, and managed to secure a table. It was busy. We both ordered a roast. I am fussy about my vegetables, and cannot abide red cabbage nor cauliflower cheese on the plate, so enquired as to...what was coming out. The young man affirmed that both were on the dish, so I asked they be brought out separately, which he said wouldn't be possible. WHY?? Plates came out, roast beef, roast potatoes and Yorkshire were perfect, but the bowl of veg, with 5 different elements in a cereal sized bowl, all crowded and my 2 unwanted elements spoiling the rest was just annoying. To cap it off, the carrots were cut too large and undercooked, and had gone brown at one end. Then my guest discovered a hair in her roast chicken... All of this was fed back to the server at the end of the meal, and she deducted my guest's dish from the bill, which is fair enough. However, if the arrogant young man who took our order had listened to my preference, at least the vegetables would have been more manageable to put on the plate... So disappointing, as our previous visit in January was faultless.More

This is a consistently good venue: friendly, efficient service and delicious food. A nice setting too. Given the cost of everything these days, what the Cadogan turns out for a relatively modest cost is remarkable. Delicious and, in the case of the Roast we enjoyed...today, ENORMOUS portions. Well done all.More

Hidden gem! We ventured out of our Centre Parcs stay on the hunt for a good roast and we definitely did find it. We called around midday and they managed to get us in! The staff were all so lovely and the service was exceptional!...To top it off the food was delicious! My partner said it was the best bit of beef he has had in a while! I totally agree. We even saved some room for dessert and the gingerbread pudding was so lovely! Perfect for a winter evening. 4 of us said we will definitely be returning for sure!More
