Had our evening meal there, The Scallops were great would definitely recommend them. The service and staff was excellent. Had a drink there the evening before and went back because we liked the whole atmosphere

Trip Adviser website said it was open. Its own website said it was open. We walked from The Ice House to find that it was closed!

Crockets has always been a go-to place for us. It was prone to many ups and downs in terms of consistency of the food quality and presentation but it has been great over the last two years and was virtually back to the old Crockets where there was always a queue for a table. The current management and staff have... More

Dunno what was going on in the kitchen Wednesday night last .. I'm sure it was post Christmas tiredness cos food was very average that was served .. never seen such a fatty grizzle ridden steak in my life and mushroom starter was very oily .. Service from kitchen was also very slow , although waiting staff were very friendly... More

Crockets was recommended by a receptionist at the Ice House Hotel. The food is average pub grub but at the weekend this place is buzzing. We listened to an excellent band in a large entertaining room. They were so good I bought their CD. And it was free.

Great find especially as they showed Sky sports! Not for me but the other half!! Great food, good service and not too far to walk from where we were staying - the Ice House! Well worth a visit whether it be to eat in restaurant or simply just for a drink or two in the bar.

This place has got it right. It has a good menu, the food is tasty, the portions are generous and it is good value for money. To top it all off they had something which I have not seen offered on a menu before which is a whiskey taster to finish off your meal. Three irish whiskeys and a fact... More

We ate here on the Saturday of the bank holiday weekend and it was so good that we came back again on Sunday night. We had the lamb stew, the brisket and then the chicken and chorizo pasta and the burger. We had dessert both nights too - berrry crumble and ice-cream selection. Every morsel was fantastic, so well cooked... More

I've eaten here twice recently, and Crocketts is still consistently good. Friendly and efficient staff serving decent food in pleasant surroundings. The duck was particularly wonderful. The only negative was the tasteless chips served with the panko chicken sandwich - c'mon Crocketts, real chips aren't hard.
