friendly staff are very important to good eating, and you'll find at raymonds exactly that. My favourite main course is confit duck with red cabbage.Desserts vary but my favourite is selection of ice cream, followed by an Americano and brown bread.Nice touch if you are a regular you get free lunch on Christmas week.Sited adjacent to the Jameson whiskey brewery. If you enjoy... It had been a while since I had visited Raymond's. I think its the best meal I've ever had there. We got really fresh tasty bread to begin, while we waited for the starters. The food was spot on. I had goats cheese bon bons to start and a chef special beef for main, which was cooked to perfection and... More

I had the chance to grab a bite to eat for lunch & wanted to try the lunch menu because dinner is always fab. I was on my own so planned just to have something quick. Ended up having mains, dessert & coffee. It was a great treat for myself. I use to work as a pastry chef & am... More

We returned here after a few years of a break due to a previous bad experience. On arrival we were seated and noted the absence of the white tablecloths which previously would have been present. There were two of us dining and neither of the main courses we ordered were available which the waitress omitted to mention to us on... More

Tried this place this evening. Service was excellent, attended to immediately, fast and efficient service. Nice buzz in the place. Chicken salad and salmon lovely as was the duck. Vino was very drinkable. But a creme brulee with whiskey and apple was awful. Tasted like some transitions years were let loose in the kitchen. Still, most produce is sourced locally... More

We had our Christmas party here this year and of the ten of us there, we were all agreed that the food and service were excellent, in fact we were all agreed that we would all go back. Food is a bit different here, they like to try different things and it works really well, some of the wine I... More

Delicious food and excellent value. The staff were great and very attentive but it's a pity about the owner's attitude!

Went there for a evening meal with friends and it turned out Very expensive for what we had. They only have a licence for wine and some bottle beers no G/T a bad start, we found the food, OK it was the set menu, unappealing and on arrival not very taste. We had cheese and wafers for desert which looked... More

I recently met up with a few friend for a Christmas get together and we had lunch in Raymond's. I had chowder or fishsoup as it was called on the meanu. For Main course I had Lamb it was excellent. None of this "Fine Dining" a decent honest to goodness meal that would let you have the feeling that you... More

We had heard a lot about Raymond's so we decided to see what the hype was about - overall, the hype was true! We really enjoyed our meal from start to finish, in particular the vegetable soup, roast of the day and creme brulee were standout dishes but to name a few. There's obviously a lot of thought and preparation... More
