This place was terrific. We arrived early evening ahead of the rush. The Fish stew appetizer was great- very tasty and lots of fish. All of the entrees were terrific and the service was efficient and very friendly.
We both had salmon for our mains, delicious, best salmon I have ever tasted. The restaurant was very busy, our experience was spoilt by the close proximatey of other tables resulting in noisy background of other peoples conversations.
Mitchells is a high quality restaurant with particularly good fish. The mussels starter was generous and the mussels were fat and tasty. The hake main course was also great. My wife had an excellent the steak. Nice service and a good atmosphere. Very enjoyable.
