Drawn to this pub by the live band playing traditional music. Food was great, inexpensive and the service was good.

Our first evening in Clifden was at Coneely's, with good food and wonderful musicians. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Loved the acoustics -- it's not just rickety tables here, there's solidity and upholstery, which made a "noisy" -- normal for an Irish pub with good live music -- very balanced throughout the room -- so we dined AND enjoyed the whirl and could still...More
We discovered Conneely's early in our trip - and returned there several more times in less than a week.My husband enjoyed the drinks (he had a Smithwick's with a Guinness head there - a first for him - as well as a whiskey he'd never...More
Enjoyed the early live dinner music as well as the later set with sing-a-long. Micky Mac, Fergal Scahill & Garry O'Meara put on a good show! Also, the seafood linguine is great!

We went to listen to some good music, which there was, but we're not able to sit down, stand or even take photos of the live band without having the bar list forced in our face and one of the bar tenders stating if we...More
We had heard of this establishment, and decided to check it out for the live music that we were told was quite good. We ate first, and the food was very solid; not enough to knock your socks off, but quick, attractively presented, and well-made....More
Good food, live music from 6:30pm and smoking area overlooking the entire Clifden bay! On top of that great service and decent prices.
