Really a "must go to" if you stay in Clifden. They offer a phantastic food and the service is brilliant! To get the real Irish feeling - this is a perfect place with the absolute irish atmosphere. And please: don't miss the "Seafood Chowder"!

Lovely pub, great staff and brilliant pint of Guinness. Food looked very good, but unfortunately the restaurant was fully booked so we didn't get a chance to try it. If you fancy a bit of a pub crawl then Clifden is a great place to do it great pints and lots of pubs to try them out in.

Four of us stopped here for dinner after driving the Sky Road from Clifden. Warm friendly welcome, great live music, got a table straight away, reviving drinks came along quickly too. We loved the Irish Stew, with the tenderest most flavoursome lamb, and the lamb shank, also delicious. A real find.

Excellent food and service. When we arrived had to wait 30 mins for a table as we did not book but well worth the wait. All waiting staff were excellent and very friendly. Price very good

Only stopped here for a bite to eat, but atmosphere excellent; traditional setting with music in the evening. Food really nice, reasonable prices but service was very good and friendly by nice bar staff. Thank you.

Found this place on a rainy afternoon. And stayed there for 5 hours straight. Pleasantly surprised by the live music, good food and super nice staff!

Great food and very welcoming staff. You may need to wait for a table, but take a seat at the bar, grab a Guinness and listen to some live music while you wait - it is worth it. Food is good quality pub food, the Irish Stew is great as are the mussels..
