Went to Rumours with my wife on Friday 4th November last. The food and service was excellent. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. Looking forward to going back. A must in this part of Kerry.

While in Glenbeigh, I ended up eating at this place twice. The food was very good, but beyond that I was made to feel really welcome, which is always very much appreciated when away from home. A truly lovely place!

Initially the prices looked slightly high but what was put in front of us was so good that it made us feel like we were underpaying! The women serving us were friendly and made good fun with our large group. I highly recommend this Bistro for dinner, absolutely worth every cent!

Touring the Ring of Kerry we stayed in Glenbeigh and decided on a meal out. I phoned Rumours around 1730 and was advised to reserve a table even for 1800. We arrived and surely enough the bistro was nicely full by 1830. The starters of Cromane mussels were really good, large tender and sweet tasting. I had the rack of... More

The food was really lovely, very tasty and great sized portions. Only downside was the speed of service. We had to wait quite a while before our drinks order was taken and they took as long to come as our food (they ended up coming together).

In the tiny village of Glenbeigh on the Ring of Kerry is Rumours, one half a coffee shop (which we didn't visit) and the other half an evening bistro. We had a really lovely meal, made particularly good by the vegetarian choices on the menu - often hard to come by in Ireland. The pear and blue cheese in filo... More

Fresh food, well presented, pleasant staff, comfortable surroundings, food that stays hot, imaginative menu...at last a restaurant that actually is a restaurant and not someplace masquerading as such with a cook instead of a chef...it does exactly what it says on the menu and over the door!Go figure!

Came across this by chance, and what a find. Great menu, great free WI-FI, fair price and selection of home bakes is fantastic. Even if you are not headed this way, divert! On the ring of kerry, so easy to find. Seafood platter - is to die for, oysters, crab salad was a great surprise, but no more info. Come... More

A group of 6 of us stopped in for breakfast on the August Bank holiday Monday. Just to set the scene the place was very quiet, a few people having coffee but we were the only group. It wasn't all bad, the food was fine but the service was honestly the worst I have ever experienced. There seemed to be... More
