We visited really before the season so this was not open late. We had a late lunch rather than dinner and it was very empty. The building is fascinating and the staff are friendly. There was a wonderful display of baking and we had good food including chowder and a fish pie.

We were starving when we arrived off the flight from Cork. We ordered our food and it was with us 10 mins later. Everything is fresh. The Church is great a good restoration and the chandeliers remarkable. Good choice on the menu we visited twice and both times busy the service excellent.

The Church is a beautiful place to go for a special occasion or a wonderful night out with friends. We couldn't fault the decore so tastefully renovated and finished to a high standard. The staff were so warm and attentive in spite of the packed house! The menu was filled with tastey options and the flavours superb! Going back to... More

Came across this restaurant by accident after a trip to Sherkin Island. It's not just a beautiful setting but the food is fab as well. I recommend the Caesar Salad but everything that came out of the kitchen looked appetising! The waiting staff were also very pleasant and helpful.

A trip to West Cork is not complete for me without a meal in the Church. I look forward to it and have never been disappointed. In fact I have been dreaming of the stuffed sea bass I had on my last visit ever since. The restaurant itself is beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxed and there is always a buzz... More

My other half and I visited for a few days so I booked the Valentines evening meal and was not disappointed. Each course was tasty, plentiful and well presented. The cost was very fair. The service was efficient and friendly. The building itself is just beautiful. I'd CERTAINLY re-visit if I ever found myself in Skibbereen again and would thoroughly... More

Found this unbelievably fab restaurant when out on a Sunday drive from Kinsale - where we live. Totally loved the place from immediately seeing the entrance. We had Sunday lunch and it was possibly THE BEST from start to finish. And wow to the service ! Sergio looked after so well ...what a guy ...so helpful friendly and informative. Told... More

A must-see if you're in Skibbereen. A converted church that was rescued from a burnt-out shell and restored using reclaimed materials from throughout Europe. It's worth a look even if they weren't offering food! There's a lovely atmosphere with a very friendly and attentive staff. The food wasn't bad either. We happened across it in January- there's a pretty courtyard/terrace... More
