Went on a visit with friends. Had the very best monkfish ever! Helpful smiling staff and not that expensive. Really worth a visit and will go again when in Dublin!

Every time i visit The Oar House I am happy. Service is fast and kind, food is delicious. The oysters are to die for, as are the mussels. Great wine selection too.

Has a large variety of well prepared fish dishes. Nice atmosphere. The waitresses were exceptional. Fish very fresh (large fishing boat parked very close to front door)
Had a lovely couple's night on a Sat evening. Are early, but place was still fairly full. We had prawns pil pil & muddled for starters. Really tasty. One recommendation, however, they could add a fee more Euros & throw in a few more prawns....More
