Absolutely loved it. I got Cesar salad which was a meal in itself then got beef pie which was excellent. I rate 5 my wife was pregnant and she got chicken sandwich and she didn't like it. We aren't in KY so I'm not letting her choice affect my experience. Would recommend highly, staff was awesome and accommodating. Yum yum

We entered the bar on the left and ate well. Corned beef & cabbage @ 15EU was swell. Scampi @ 19.50 not bad. Staff friendly. Seems to take off with music at night?

This was our first time to visit the Abbey Tavern in Howth and it certainly won't be the last as we had a most enjoyable meal on a Friday evening in April to end my birthday. Stupidly we hadn't booked and the pub was very busy with a warm atmosphere and great buzz about the place when we arrived -... More

Went to Abbey Tavern last wednesday - what a night we had. The food, the band and the craic were all spot on. The room where the show is held is quite intimate and the band get everyone involved with the singing and dancing. Our waitress was fabulous and nothing was too much to ask for - and the food... Visited Howth for the first time, what a beautiful corner of the world. Taxi driver recommended we enjoy a meal here in that Abbey Tavern and can I say we most certainly did just that, we were waited on hand & food by a extremely wonderful South African-lady who couldn't do any more for us even if she had magic... Great location in a very cozy little village. Very friendly and good atmosphere. I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was good, but the fries where a bit boring.

Between March 18-25 we had the pleasure of visiting the beautiful country of Ireland with some of our best friends. We were lucky enough to find a great spot in Howth to stay for the time we were in the country and during our visit, we frequented the Abbey Tavern (I believe 4 times). The atmosphere in the restaurant was... More

We went to theAbbey Tavern for their "Traditional Irish Show" of music, song, and dance. I admit I was a bit skeptical going in. It was touristy, with at least a couple of bus loads of American's on packaged deals, but, somewhat to my surprise, the food was quite good and the show very entertaining, with some excellent dancing and...
