One of the best lunches we've ever had, served by friendly, thoughtful hosts. We visited during the off season and the cafe was buzzing with locals. Stop here after visiting the Rock of Cashel for an amazing meal! Lamb burger and Greek salad recommended.

Cafe Hans is on the road leading up to the Rock of Cashel. It is close by its big brother, Chez Hans restaurant. If you can't get a parking space on the street, or on the spaces in front of Chez Hans, you can drive a little further up the hill towards the Rock and use the pay parking there.... More

Cafe Hans is located very close to the Rock of Cashel. So we chose it for our lunch break after visiting the famous ruin. First of all, the service was super: very friendly, helpful, familiar -which is remarkable since the cafe is pretty sure full with tourists all around the year. Furthermore the menu options were very good for a... More

Cafe Hans is the lunch/early dinner little brother if Chez Hans, one of the top restaurants in Ureland. You can get the same quality food-preparations n, but a more casual and affordable menu. Definitely worth a visit!

Stopped in for lunch after visiting The Rock. The lunch we had was even better than expected. Mushroom soup was delicious. The mussels starter meal was so generous we could not believe it. The sauce on the mussels was so savory without being overly rich, just perfect. The copious amounts of brown bread were perfect for dipping. The fries were... More

Not much to say, apart from Go Try It. You won't be disappointed...lunch menu is a pleasant break from normal. Just bring cash as no card machine available.

Starter was cup of soup and was good. Main course was excellent. Was looking forward to dessert. The size of the lemon tart was a disgrace. Six Euro for a piece no bigger than a finger.
