Recommended by a bartender from a pub that didn't serve food after 4pm, we came to The Brian. There are two set of doors, the left take you to a bar and sports section, the right to the restaurant. Everything is a little out of place, there's a fire place and it's a little scrapes, chipped furniture etc.... so we... More

Fun place to eat, with very good entertainment. The menu was varied and the prices were reasonable, too.

Popped in to see the amateur theater group performing 'Ladies in Retirement'. They were well practiced, entertaining and friendly. The venue is comfotrable and has a great location. I recommend a performance!

Stopped en route to Cork. Wouldn't eat here again. Very poor quality food. Waitress was lovely and most helpful but unfortunately this didn't make up for the very disappointing food.

Food was really bad and we were unfortunate enough to get a bit annoying waiter. When my friend complained about his food the chef didn't come out and the waiter handled the complaint badly. Would not recommend

My wife and I choice the Brian Boru on our hosts suggestion. It was an excellent choice for traditional pub meal. It was my first experience with Irish vegetable soup. Puréed vegetables with a constancy of split pea, it was great. As good as the food was,it was the staff and their friendliness, that made the visit exceptional.

We were clearly not locals - in fact, we screamed American tourists, but absolutely welcomed in the bar.

Spent 3 nights in Cashel - 2 of which we ended up at this pub!! Great live music both nights and dancing too. I never had any food but I did drink a lot of cider lol. Mickey the bartender was a gem, what a lovely gentleman - we adored him.

We went here for dinner and were given a nice table. We were waited upon in a timely fashion and then waited and waited for food. We asked the waitress for several things and she forgot three of them. The food was good but we wanted a very long time to be able to get the waitress to come back... More

It was a treat to have such a good meal and be entertained by live traditional music. Even the French host-waiter was fun to watch as he charmed the customers, served food, and waltzed among the tables! And the Bailey's cheesecake was phenomenal!
