Our first visit was not impressing, second visit blew our socks off. Great staff, yummy food. Atmosphere is modern, not your traditional Irish pub atmosphere. But that is not a bad thing, just different and the food makes up for it.

JP Clarke's is a rustic country pub featuring reclaimed sandstone floors, timber beams with brick and stone walls. The atmosphere in JP Clarke's is relaxed, friendly and informal, while the overall impression is of a pub that is both comfortable and rustic. Bunratty is a great location to meander the day away enjoying fine food and chilled wines and beers, forgetting about the worries and stresses of life.
