Enjoyed amazing gourmet burgers at the evening burger bar here. It was busy, so arrive early or you may not get a table. Note - although there's a choice of different, delicious sounding options - you can only get burgers, nothing else. This is a fine pub, the staff generally go out of their way to be helpful. We tried to eat on Saturday bank holiday but it was so busy they couldn't take us.

Opted for pub grub option opposed to their restaurant. Expected better quality food given it had a restaurant attached. The fish & chip option sounded tasty but lacked any flavour and was poor quality fish. The mushy peas left a lot to be desired. My partner enjoyed their dinner slightly better, apart from the salad which could have been fresher.... More

We eat in the upstairs restaurant, its a little more expensive than nearby restaurants but it's worth the extra. Good adult and kids menu.

We went in as the menu seemed to be alright and the first thing that struck me was the layout was a bit strange as the dining area was away from the main pub in a wee back space, which felt a little bit cut off. The food took a while to come as a number of tables were in,... More
