Was touring around the beautiful Connemara coast and decided to stop . Right on the Main Street with parking just across the street. The staff were welcoming and friendly and place although small did not feel cramped. They have a wide selection of fare soup , sandwiches, Paninis etc , herbal teas , Coffee. We decided just to have apple... More

Only had a Pint, but it was authentic, and reasonable, and a spirited conversation was on going. Location was good.

We enjoyed a quick lunch of soup and sandwich; a few of the family had a burger. It was quick, tasty and warm on a chilly wet day.

My friends, their 8 yr old daughter( German Nationals ) and I stopped for a cappuccino here and sat outside waiting for our drinks. The waitress left the cup with hot coffee on the uneven part of the surface of the table bench and the hot liquid immediately spilled over my friends trousers and hand. She was given an old... More

Good value cafe in Leenane village. Quite small inside and, with Irish weather, I doubt that the outside tables get much use. Staff were efficient and friendly and food was served quickly. I had the Full Irish Breakfast (served all day) - tasty sausages, rashers, egg fried perfectly, puddings, mushrooms, beans, toast, coffee - good value for €8.50

Situated in the center of the lovely village of Leenane this pub is by far the cosiest in town. One lucky day they have even sold us a Midleton whiskey for just 5 Euro a glass! Loved it!

We called in for afternoon tea and thoroughly enjoyed their delightful fruit scones made on the premises. The ladies take great pride in their cafe and offer a wide range of grill option and also breakfasts, lunches and morning and afternoon teas. A fun place to visit.

Always visit the Village Grill for lunch or a snack whenever I visit Leenane. Have always received good food and a friendly welcome and would recommend.

Description
Located next to Leenane Post Office. Our visit to The Village Grill was a very negative and dissapointing experience, in great contrast with the other premises nearby. May I humbly suggest Bord Failte check this place out.
