Stumbled upon this restaurant while searching for eating places nearby the Coulee de la Lave and we weren’t disappointed! They have an amazing concept of giving tasters of all the dishes and drinks on their menu. After that, we choose any dish and get unlimited...portions of it. You can also share a dish but with no additional portion. The food is really good Creol cuisine and the fresh juices were also really nice. The icing on the cake was the cost performance of this restaurant was absolutely top drawer!! If you’re in the area and looking for a really tasty meal without spending an arm and a leg, look no further than La Case Volcan!!More

I don’t know why we eat the same thing here in the réunion and India but anyway, I loved their cooking. Unfortunately the one I wanted order was finished and I had to choose another one which also was very nice. Only problems were the...parking space and the waiting time but I understand these are quite common on this island.More

A very pretty Restaurant at the side of the road serving delicious Creole Cuisine. We were taken here by our guide to taste some local Creole Cooking and it was really delicious. They start off by giving about 8 little dishes for you to taste...so you can decide which dish you would like to eat. This came along with about 6 juices to taste. We had the Coconut Chicken and a Spicy Sausage Dish they came with rice, lentils and the usual chilli sambal. It was all delicious and quite filling particularly as we couldn’t resist eating most of the tasting dishes. The guava juice is refreshing and not too sweet. There is a shop here for you to buy a few local things. The restaurant is surrounded by beautiful plants and trees.More

This place is very very busy and after having there lunch we know why:) Upon arrival one is offered to try all 6-10 dishes they have, including a variety of fresh juices. The biggest problem is to pick one dish! Food is simply fantastic and...the place looks very authentic African-like. If your are in the neighborhood do not hesitate to make a d-tour for this visit.More

Highly recommended place to taste the creole cuisine. You can try all the plates and then decide what you want to eat. They also have good juices. The prices are a little bit higher than in other restaurants but it is worth it.

At the side of the road, this place is easy to pass by. We happened in and boy were we happy! With the menu comes a huge array of tasters. All the typical Creole dishes this place excels at come in small portions for you...to sample. The 'salade de palmiste' was new to me but simply divine! With the tasters come tiny glasses of fresh juices that you can taste, combine at will and really enjoy. Service is attentive and quick (when you need it to be). A small shop offers local products.More

This place is absolutely packed for lunch: the reason is that it is right next door to the lave fields and the food (creole dishes) is good. We loved the taster plank you get as a starter, so you can select your main course from...the small samples: great idea. If you're late (like 13h) though, it can be quite a wait before a table becomes available and the staff, who absolutely do their best, are super busy. That made it quite a long lunch experience, which cost short the afternoon.More

The restaurant is located on the main N2 road and easy to find. Upon arrival you will get a selection of all the creole dishes available and small glasses of fresh juices to taste from. All served on a half moon kind of board. After...you choose your selection, a generous serving of tour selected dish will come. All in all, the food the staff and the service are very good. Food is not so spicy so if you are not into hot food you do not need to worry. Shall repeatMore

Just excellent food and atmosphere, easy to make a choice, they bring testers for main courses. Home made ice cream - it's the final touch.
