Our B&B host suggested McDermott's and in the end, we were glad we went. Because the place was packed out, we were asked if we would mind sharing a table with another couple. Not a problem! So we shared a long table right up front...More

There were four of us in our group. The bar was so busy that it was difficult to get a seat. A lot of the "seats" did not have backs and were really low stools pulled up to a table. They were not comfortable and...More

Stopped in here to have lunch/dinner to find many of the options unavailable. There was only one gluten free option available. It was fine for once off but we didn't return. I think we were also unfortunate to have arrived just before a planned tour...More

We stopped at McDermott's when we arrived in Doolin because it was within walking distance of our B&B, the Half Door. We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed a lunch of soup and sandwiches. The food was really good, but what made us want to go...More

What a brilliant night of great food, great friends and great traditional music. The staff were polite and helpful and the landlord even drove us all home at the end of the night. Best pub in the area.

The Irish Stew and Crab Claws was very tasty. They offer Whiskey Tasting Sets for a good price. The barkeepers were very friendly and super cool. The Live Music was awesome. I spend 3 evenings in this pub and its my favourite :)

This place epitomised everything that West of ireland culture is about. Super trad session- the best I've ever seen. The band play there every weds night I'm told so make it your business to go there! Unreal!

Our family of 3 walked right in one day and had a little wait the second night. Didn't notice coach parties, just crowded because of the music.
