It's cheap..contrary to what others say...only RM 4 for a plate of normal chicken rice.Taste is so-so..you find much better ones in Kuching but at a higher price.I think it tasted better many years ago .You have to order the food at the stall before you enter the restaurant. drinks are ordered inside the restaurant. Drinks was really good and... More

Heard so much good of Fatty Loh back in early 1980s days when I was still working in Penang Public Finance Bhd. Unfortunately, after 36 years of leaving Penang, I returned for good & heard so much nasty stories about this eatery dropping its standards so low, maybe should be renamed Fatty LOW instead. So, out of curiosity, I gave... More

Very disappointed with the chicken feet kerabu dish. I know it's a salad dish but it was hardly can see the chicken feet pieces in it. The rice was nice and fluffy but chicken was not that great at least to my own experience.

This place is rightfully a landmark in Penang! When you walk in, it's as if you just strolled into an antique shop! There are little trinkets everywhere, giving it a lot of character. Fatty Loh is run by a Chinese family and they do a great job. We went on a holiday so the son (probably 10 years old) was... More

Although the food is not bad, cleanliness is a disappointment whereby supposed cleaned cutlery has food residual from previous diners and still very oily. The tables and chairs too need to be cleaned as scrap of food is left in between the wood of the table Should not be going back there again.

Words cannot express how impressed I was with this little hole in the wall restaurant. From the outside I was a bit worried that we had come to the wrong place, as the kitchen is totally open air and it seemed like we were at a street food place. But...once we found out we're supposed to order outside (at the... More
