Coming to la Santa for many years, we noticed a complete change of staff and food presentation in September, only to see it was different again. The aforementioned change was not to our liking and we were more after good quality canarian seafood. Oddly, the daily specials came on a handwritten piece of paper, some of the olden day options... I have reviewed this restaurant before always enjoying the food but wary of the hand written specials menu. This time we ate off the main menu and had a really good meal. I had fillet steak, cooked rare, in mushroom sauce and it was excellent. my wife had fresh fish which was equally good. the waiters were friendly and not... More

An interesting meal. Tapas starters very good. Main courses mixed standard all served with a vegetable dish which was served cold. Majority of group found them distasteful. Other aspects of meal very good including service.

Although slightly disappointed that this small seaside resort had no restaurants directly overlooking the truly spectacular seascape - probably the best around the whole island - we were happy to find this very friendly terraced restaurant on the Main Street. From the handwritten menu of the day, we chose fresh sea bass cooked with caramelised onions. A new experience for... More

We felt totally tricked by our visit here today. The menu contained several different fish choices with prices around 7-9 Euros, then a final entry of fresh fish with a smudged-out biro entry which, on my menu, appeared to read 14P and on my wife's 15P, i.e. twice as much as the others. We assumed that this meant the fish... More

We were there for a quick lunch and we had good fish for a correct price. We had octopus carpaccio and grilled , murena fried and mojo with papa arrugadas and bread. It took quite a long to have food because it was quite crowdy but people were very kind. If you are in La Santa is a place we... More

There are multiple restaurants on the island offering fish ans seafood platers, still few offering real fresh catch of the day and well cooking it. We had a whole seebass for two, simply deliciously grilled. Kids have got fried calamary which where for once really well fried. On top a really friendly and caring service. The terrasse is nice, there... More

We went into this place and was ignored by the staff. After 5 minutes we went across the road to the La Santa.

We stopped here during some sight seeing and had a wonderful lunch. The local goats cheese salad was amazing.
