Extremely popular bar/cafe/restaurant.
Such a fantastic laid back feel to this place. Beach views in a beautiful setting.
We enjoyed great beers & food for happy hr (3-5pm) & lovely coffee one morning.
Lovely bar staff.
Would definitely visit here again.
Highly recommend it.
I have wanted to stop here for a cold beer and a meal so many times and today I did. I was not disappointed in the least. ANYONE who has anything bad to say about this hidden in plain sight gem is a complete nuffy....Treat yourself!More
We happened upon this cute little place for lunch when driving between Cairns and Port Douglas. They had a great lunch deal $20 for a burger and beer. Both were delicious and the view across the road was awesome. It wasn’t too busy, which was...a plus and the service was prompt. Definitely recommend.More
This place is located on the coastal road between Port Douglas and Cairns. We stopped for lunch one day. I had the pork salad (which was really good) and my partner had the fish and chips. That and 2 beers was $53. Another time we...just stopped and got take away beer battered chips and a couple of cokes for $13.50 and had them across the road on the beach. There are some great options. Recommended.More
The squid was wobbly, not crunchy, and had no taste. Fish only battered option and tasted like nothing. The taco entry was totally overpriced and was nothing special with such a hot spicy mayonnaise. That was not mentioned on the menu, otherwise I wouldn’t have...ordered it. We visited 2 years ago and the food was good. This time it was disappointing and we won’t be back. The place itself looks more inviting than before, but the food needs to improve.More
Sunday $1 Oysters from 1pm was good.
We ordered at 13:30 and they were almost out of Oysters.
Also ordered the Korean Chicken Burger ($17) which I found average.
Kids meals (Chicken Nugegts & Calamari) was $10
Salt n Pepper Squid $14 was excellent
Need...more tables as we had to wait.
Craft Beers around $10 eachMore
We were here mid week, and the team were really lovely and helpful… Outlook towards the beach and the sea tremendous… A great but very casual feel… It is just a shame that the Australian Sauv Blanc tasted more like Chardonnay… And the New Zealand...sauv was a little ordinary… Bara Monday was great, but the macro was a little tough…
Very good value for the food with the two person seafood platter at $35…
All in all unfortunately was only three stars for us… and if it wasn’t for the great service, possibly two stars…More
