Very nice location for dinner. Food was excellent. Crispy Sesame Shrimp was a fantastic appetizer. Steak was cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend. Reservations are required.

Dined there late Saturday evening, celebrating with girlfriend and her family. We were seated in the smaller dining area off to the side and each chair had a lovely wrap to use if you were chilly. The main area was bustling with people enjoying the...atmosphere and their meals. Our area was small and intimate with two large tables and one table of two. Our dinner was amazing with most of us choosing the tenderloin. What an excellent choice. Service and staff were attentive. Would highly recommend but book early, a lovely dining experience in the village of Rosseau, enjoyed all year round.More

Fantastic food and service! We reserved a spot in the private dining area which was comfortable and cozy and way less noisy. Even at the end of October this is a busy spot so would suggest reservations. Everything our party of 6 had was incredible...and done to perfection. The tenderloin may have been the best we’ve ever had. Also had Lobster ravioli, scallops, lamb shank, and chicken picatta no one came away hungry or with any complaints. Desserts and drinks were also fantastic. Don’t go here if you are looking for an affordable meal but if you want to treat yourself of have the extra cash just for a great meal guaranteed, this is the place! Highly recommendedMore

I have never reviewed a restaurant before but after experiencing the worst customer service in my life I felt the need to. I had dinner with my family here and was quite disappointed with the meal. We ate at Crossroads the year prior and it...was wonderful. This time the food was mediocre at best. Although we were disappointed we left a generous tip and were hopeful our next visit would be better. Sadly we all developed food poisoning from our dinner. When I called the restaurant I was assured the owner would contact us the following day. This was two weeks ago. During this time I called back a few times and asked to speak with a manager. Each time I was told that someone would call me right back. This never happened. Today I called for the last time and the call was disconnected after I was told I'd be put on a brief hold. My family suffered food poisoning from a mediocre and overpriced dinner and the management of this restaurant cannot even be bothered speak with me.More

Sadly, last night was zero stars (a year ago, it was 5 stars). 2 adults and one child cost over $200 but the food was mediocre to poor. My espresso martini tasted watered down. Our child refused to finish her hamburger (a first). The cookie...for dessert was so hard, she couldn’t bite it so we broke it into bite-sized pieces and she refused to finish it too. We paid for everything, tipped well, didn’t complain and just knew we’d never be back. But that night, I suffered from severe diarrhea. The next morning, my husband and child suffered from diarrhea too. We’d had the same breakfast and lunch as another family and they were perfectly fine so we knew it was Crossroads. We let Crossroads know that night so other guests hopefully wouldn’t suffer. The owner was supposed to call us. We waited over 24 hours and called again. Again, told someone would call us. Again, we're still waiting...More

It was a great surprise to be invited to this famous CROSSROAD'S Restaurant in Rosseau, Muskoka. From arrival and being welcomed by Stephany one of most pleasant, processional, knowledgeable and hospitable servers. She know the all the daily specials and the menu to explained to...us in details. Selections was for appetizers sated jumbo shrimps, chilled gazpacho soup with tomato and cucumbers... house made focaccia bread served with butter and aged balsamic &pressed olive oil. Australian Rock of Lamb. Grilled Ribeye Steak with all the trimmings, and Butternut squash Ravioli with smoke duck. Perfect choices well presented and very testy. I went with my family and my golden retriever. Food was great, atmosphere was amazing and friendly staff. I give this a 4* only because that one not so great thing was that there was too long of a wait between the appetizers and mains.

We sat on the patio/garden and it was a very pretty setting. Well appointed and lush patio. Summer in Muskoka. Our tuna tartar share appetizer was excellent. All mains were enjoyed. Fave was the scallop and risotto. Sauvignon blanc (NZ) was a decent price. Very...nice waitress helping us. We brought our Golden Retriever and he was warmly welcomed and promptly offered an ice water bowl. He loved the chicken/carrot/pea dinner. He was well taken care of for $12. I love that they do this for families with dogs. We will be back. I gave it 4* vs 5* as it was a bit long between appetizers and main.More

In this region of seemingly unlimited wealth, there are surprisingly very few fine dining places. At all. But Crossroads is it. If you count the number of Rolls Royces and Porsches parked outside, you know that this place is definitely it. Food is superb. Service...is very good. You won't do better in Muskoka.More

Overpriced for the duck which looked like 4 discs of cold cat food with 4 dry crackers. Found a bone in the duck pate. The steak was undercooked in the centre and,the staff got argumentive when informed of this. The mushroom ravioli was good but...pricey for a small portion. The staff forgot my drink and had to be reminded. She also did not bring me my birthday cupcake as promised but went to serve another table instead. My first and last visit there.More

We live at our cottage for the summer and going to Crossroads for dinner is a special treat. Once again they did not disappoint. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable but not intrusive. The cocktails here are pricey but they are made with fresh ingredients/herbs —...so you pay for what you get. Our meals were delicious and cooked perfectly. Their patio is dog friendly and our canine thoroughly enjoyed his dinner from the dog menu. Crossroads is an upscale restaurant in a rural setting. It does not disappoint!!More

We’ve eaten here before and really liked our meal. This time not good. We had Fritto Misto. Everything was deep fried, greasy and way over cooked. The lobster was so dried up. So disappointed! Also we paid $48.00 for it! Our friends ordered the Sam...thing and we all did not eat much of it. Should of sent it back.More

We have just moved to the area but we're recommended by several friends to try this place and decided to go for a late Easter Sunday lunch. The welcome was warm from the moment we entered and we decided to sit at the bar to...get a good view of the place. Our server was not only knowledgeable but efficient. My husband ordered the Caesar salad and it was the most delicious mix of crunchy bacon, crisp lettuce and fresh parmesan with a light garlic dressing and crispy large croutons on the side. It was enough to share but I had ordered a luscious carrot and ginger soup. We split the Canelloni after as a main course and it was perfectly al dente, stuffed with shredded meat in a fresh tomato sauce. To follow we again shared a dessert that was superb. A chocolate espresso orange mousse, a tart and satisfying cheesecake plus a gorgeous cookie covered in fondant in the shape of a carrot. We also ordered the special cocktail of the day which we both thought was a little sour but then gin isn't our favourite base. I ordered a non alcoholic which I asked for extra simple syrup in and it was very refreshing. Coffee followed and was smooth and mellow. The bill came to around 200 but was worth every penny. We will definately be back to try more from the menu of this fabulous Chef couple. Apparently it's very hard to get in during the summer, so best to book in advance.More

Birthday celebration upon reopening of the restaurant. As before, excellence everywhere, especially re service (Stephanie was our server). Braised lamb shank and shrimps and scallops, accompanied by caesar salads, Cave Spring Riesling and creme brule. Very cosy space on a winter afternoon. Prices reflect value.
